Since the beginning of the term, Quynh Phu's economy has grown remarkably, with many targets exceeding the plan. Continuing the growth momentum, the district strives to basically complete the district road infrastructure according to the level IV delta standards by 2025, moving towards synchronizing commune and village roads, determined to continue to develop the economy rapidly and sustainably.
Many traffic routes invested by Quynh Phu district are being urgently constructed to ensure progress according to plan.
From synchronizing district roads to commune roads and village roads
Since the beginning of the term, Quynh Phu has completed 10 routes: DH.72 (An My to An Khe); DH.72A, DH.72C from An Bai town through An Thanh commune; DH.73 (Lap bridge to Dong Bang temple); DH.77 (Dau bridge to Hiep wharf); DH.78 (Huu Luoc dike to Quynh Ngoc), An Ap commune road through O bridge, An Vinh commune; provincial road DT.455 from An Vu commune to An Duc commune... The completed routes all meet the level IV standards of the delta with an 8m wide road surface paved with asphalt, sidewalks over 3m wide, with load-bearing drainage ditches, and lighting systems. The district is also constructing the An Duc provincial road to Dong Tien, DT.455 road to Quynh My, the Quynh Hoi district road to An Vinh, Chau Son to Quynh Ngoc..., striving to complete by 2024. Currently, the rate of district roads meeting level IV delta standards in Quynh Phu is 78.5%, the locality with the highest rate of district roads meeting standards in the province. This is one of the top important criteria for businesses when looking for investment opportunities in the district.
Along with striving to synchronize traffic infrastructure, Quynh Phu is determined to complete the general urban planning in the town and some localities; continue to plan new residential areas, organize auctions of land use rights to create revenue for investment in developing socio-economic infrastructure.
Comrade Nguyen Van Nhiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council affirmed: After completing the district road infrastructure, with the movement of people voluntarily donating land and property as it is now, Quynh Phu will continue to build roads for communes and villages. We think the district and localities will be able to do this because in Quynh Phu today, the movement of people voluntarily donating land has become a widespread emulation movement, whenever it comes to building roads, people donate land and property. If the localities are determined, in the 2025 - 2030 term, the district will focus on building advanced new rural communes, model new rural communes and building main intra-field traffic routes for localities to bring mechanization into chain-linked production, towards accelerating urbanization, expanding trade and services.
Promoting local strengths
In 2022, Quynh Phu's economy will have a remarkable development with an estimated total budget revenue of VND 2,435 billion, an increase of 54.3% compared to 2021, the first year the district has a revenue exceeding VND 2,400 billion. However, the growth rate of agricultural production, small-scale industry, services and trade is not commensurate with the potential and strengths of the district, especially the advantages of geographical location as well as traffic infrastructure. In order to successfully carry out the political tasks for the period of 2020 - 2025, maximize the potential and advantages of the district to create a breakthrough in socio-economic development and improve people's lives, especially striving to complete the district's traffic infrastructure according to the level IV standards of the delta by 2025, Quynh Phu has specific orientations and solutions.
Comrade Vu Xuan Hung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, said: Quynh Phu's traffic infrastructure has been basically completed, but to achieve the goal of having all district roads meet the level IV standards of the delta by 2025, the first solution is to focus on mobilizing resources. Currently, in addition to completing the planning and auctioning land use rights in some urban residential areas such as Sinh Phan residential area, Dong Kenh (Quynh Coi town), Quynh Hung residential area (Quynh Hung commune)... to create capital for basic construction, the district continues to plan a number of urban areas and residential areas: An Bai town, Quynh Coi town and An Dong and Quynh Ngoc communes; orienting to build Quynh Coi town and An Bai town into a level IV urban area; at the same time, proposing to plan a number of urban areas along the Hoa River - An Bai town, urban areas along the Luoc River in Quynh Lam, Quynh Ngoc, Quynh Hoang communes and some other localities...
However, the real estate market is sluggish, the district is directing agencies and units to coordinate with provincial departments and branches to continue to advise on solutions to increase budget revenue, effectively disburse public investment capital, and meet project implementation requirements in the district. In addition to the projects that have been and are being implemented, the district will continue to study and implement projects to connect with districts and key economic zones in the province such as Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, economic zones connecting Hai Phong, Hai Duong and Quynh Phu. Along with creating resources, Quynh Phu continues to mobilize people's strength in site clearance, coordinate with provincial functional branches to direct investors to speed up the implementation of projects in Thaco Thai Binh Industrial Park, Cau Nghin Industrial Park, and strive to put the two industrial parks into operation soon, thereby attracting large enterprises to invest in the district.
