Meeting to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Lawyers Association

Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Thai Binh Provincial Lawyers Association.

Attending the meeting were comrade Lai Van Hoan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Lawyers Association through the periods.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the history of formation and development of the Vietnam Lawyers Association and the Thai Binh Provincial Lawyers Association. Since its establishment, the Vietnam Lawyers Association has continuously developed and grown in both organization and number of members. Currently, the Association has about 102,000 members across the provinces and cities nationwide. The Thai Binh Provincial Lawyers Association currently has 1,151 lawyers, operating in 26 units. Lawyers associations at all levels in the province always actively participate in contributing ideas to build policies and laws; propagating, disseminating and educating the law; providing legal advice and legal aid to raise awareness and sense of law compliance for officials, party members, members and people. Thereby contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, effectively serving the socio-economic development tasks of the province.

Promoting the 70-year tradition of establishment and growth of the Vietnam Bar Association, 25 years of development of the Thai Binh Bar Association, all levels of the association and its members continue to make efforts to contribute to the cause of national construction and defense, contributing to the country's rapid and sustainable development in the new era.
