Vision Pro glasses cost 90 million VND in Vietnam

Vision Pro glasses are the last product introduced by Apple at the developer conference - WWDC 2023 taking place in the early morning of June 6 (Vietnam time), with a listed price of 3,499 USD (more than 82 million VND). However, the product has not been launched this year, users who want to own this device will have to wait until early 2024 and will only be limited to a few markets (including the US) in the first sale.

After the event, some Apple Authorized Resellers (AARs) in Vietnam announced the expected price of the Vision Pro model around 90 million VND. Hoang Ha Mobile system offered the price of 86.99 million VND, CellphoneS offered the price of 89.99 million VND. Other AARs also offered prices above 90 million VND. All have no specific time but are expected in early 2024, after going on sale in the US market.

The Vietnamese online Apple Store has no information about this product yet.

Vision Pro is a long-awaited VR/AR product from Apple. Despite its convincing performance on the WWDC 2023 stage, the product is still predicted to have difficulty becoming a popular device on the market because of its starting price of $3,499, which is as high as the highest-end MacBook Pro.

Apple claims that their virtual reality and augmented reality headset is "unique" on the market today. To operate, Vision Pro glasses need the M2 chip to handle performance, and a new chip called R1 to solve problems with latency, vision, and perception... The device is equipped with many sensors and cameras at the same time, each eye is a Micro LED screen with 23 million pixels, with a density higher than a 4K TV for each eye.

"Apple" cooperated with optical glasses company Zeiss to apply three-layer lenses to increase the effectiveness of three-dimensional images, along with the ability to support nearsightedness/farsightedness adjustment to serve people with vision problems.
