Case of 20-month-old child being carried upside down and brutally beaten: Police are investigating

The case of a teacher abusing a 20-month-old child occurred at the Con Cung private kindergarten (in Phuoc Chanh village, Que My commune, Que Son district).

"After receiving the information, I directed the immediate cessation of this facility's operations. This morning, April 12, it is no longer allowed to receive children for care. Local authorities have also visited and encouraged the family of the child who was beaten by the female teacher. Currently, the police are consolidating the case file to investigate and strictly handle this behavior," said Mr. Vu.

According to Mr. Vu, according to the license, this facility is only allowed to keep 7 children of nursery and kindergarten age. However, through inspection, it was discovered that the number of children in this private facility is higher than the licensed number.

"Regardless of whether the incident is big or small, the act of beating children must be dealt with seriously, because this behavior is unacceptable," Mr. Vu added.

Meanwhile, Mr. PPT (father of the 20-month-old child who was beaten) said that the camera of this private facility is often turned off at noon, but that day the owner of the facility neglected to turn it off, so the child's abuse was discovered by the parents.

As soon as the incident was discovered, the family immediately went to the workplace. Ms. Ngoc Lan ( the person who lifted the 20-month-old child upside down and brutally beat him - PV ) cried and apologized to the family, claiming that she had done it by mistake because the child was crying and refused to take a nap. However, the family did not accept this explanation.

Mr. T. also said that during nearly a month of sending his child to the facility, the parents were not allowed to monitor the camera, even though this was a legitimate right to monitor the quality of child care.

As Thanh Nien reported, on the evening of April 11, a clip was circulated on Facebook recording a female teacher brutally beating a preschool child.

The clip content shows the incident happened at 11:55 a.m. on April 11.

In the clip, the children were taking a nap when a person believed to be a kindergarten teacher went to the cupboard and took out a tool that looked like a ruler. Then, this person went up and grabbed one of the children's legs, lifted it up, and repeatedly hit the child with the tool that looked like a ruler. In the clip, the child can be seen crying miserably.
