Mr. Tran Quang Bao, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Kien Giang province, said that for the 2023 high school graduation exam, Kien Giang province has arranged 26 testing sites in localities with 625 official testing rooms, 52 spare rooms and 46 waiting rooms. The total number of candidates registered for the exam is 14,423 candidates. Of the total 26 testing sites, 3 are located in Phu Quoc city and 23 inter-school, inter-district/city testing sites are close to each other to create the most favorable conditions for candidates taking the exam in localities in the area. In particular, Kien Hai and Giang Thanh districts do not have testing sites, so 130 candidates have been supported by units, especially the youth union, to take the exam in Rach Gia and Ha Tien cities. "Currently, the candidates are on the mainland. Schools with candidates coming to the mainland to take the exam have also sent homeroom teachers and 2 additional subject teachers to support and manage the students," Mr. Tran Quang Bao added.

As soon as the candidates set foot on the mainland, support forces from union members, youth to police were present, arranging vehicles to take them to their accommodation. Le Bao Ngoc, class 12A of Kien Hai Secondary and High School, said: “I am very happy to receive enthusiastic support from the police, and have a vehicle to take me to my accommodation.
