More than 2,000 students from Nguyen Quoc Trinh High School, Ngoc Hoi High School, Dong My High School, Hoang Van Thu High School, along with many parents and teachers, were present to listen, discuss and shape their future career path.

Help students gain more data to understand themselves
The program takes place in a special context: 2025 is the first year that 12th graders will take the high school graduation exam according to the new general education program (2018), with many adjustments in learning content and testing methods. Therefore, career guidance and admissions counseling are more important and urgent than ever.
Speaking at the event, journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper emphasized: "Thanh Tri District is changing strongly today. From a traditional suburban area with craft villages, clean vegetable areas, and industrial clusters, Thanh Tri is gradually becoming a dynamic development area of the Capital. That development requires a generation of young human resources who are not only good at knowledge, but also have skills, flexible thinking, and the ability to adapt to the new environment."

According to journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan, to meet that requirement, career orientation for students, especially senior students, plays an extremely important role. Career orientation is not simply choosing a school and a major, but is also the first step to forming a career mindset, preparing for a long journey ahead. “We organized today's program so that students can directly meet and listen to sharing from experts, lecturers and predecessors. Through that, each student has more data to understand themselves and make choices that are suitable for their abilities, interests and social needs,” journalist Ngo Vuong Tuan shared.
With that spirit, the 2025 Career Counseling program gathered experts from many prestigious universities such as: Thu Do University, University of Transport Technology, FPT Polytechnic College... Here, representatives of the schools introduced the latest enrollment information in 2025 from quotas, training majors, admission methods to scholarship policies, tuition fees, internship opportunities and jobs after graduation.

In particular, experts took the time to directly answer questions from students and parents. Many practical questions were raised: Should we choose a major based on our abilities or market trends? Should we go to university or learn a trade? Which majors are in need of human resources in the near future? How to avoid getting lost among so many options? How to effectively review for exams... Experts explained in detail and suggested many options to help students feel more confident before the upcoming important exam.
Understand correctly , understand enough to make the right decision
Another highlight of the program is the direct admissions consulting area, where booths from universities and colleges specifically introduce training programs, learning environments, international exchange opportunities, career orientation, etc. This area not only attracts students but also receives great attention from parents, who always want to accompany and support their children in important decisions.

Nguyen Thu Huyen, a 12th grade student at Ngoc Hoi High School, shared: “I was very impressed with the consultation from teachers from universities. Before, I was quite vague about the career I wanted to pursue, but after today's session, I have a clearer view and plan to register for the Business Administration major under the international joint program.”
Not only students, teachers also recognized the high practicality of the program. Teachers also said that this is a practical activity, contributing to supporting the school in career orientation for students. Updated information from universities, along with dedicated advice from experts, helps students and parents understand correctly and fully to make the right decision.

As a mouthpiece representing the voice of the youth of the Capital, the Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper not only reports and reflects the lives of young people, but also pioneers in organizing programs to accompany students on their journey to adulthood. Career counseling is one of the key activities that the Newspaper has maintained for many years, with the desire to become a close friend of the young generation, a bridge between school - society - labor market.
The 2025 Career Counseling and Dialogue Program in Thanh Tri District today once again affirmed the role of the press in guiding and supporting the future generation. From the suburban schoolyard, career dreams have been ignited, concerns have been resolved, so that each student can confidently embark on the journey of adulthood with knowledge, skills and aspirations to contribute.
