Checking preparations for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Peace Festival

This afternoon, July 3, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam inspected and reviewed preparations for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Peace Festival at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai special national historical site.

According to the event organizer's report, up to now, all stage installation, event equipment and performance rehearsals have reached about 90%, basically meeting the progress and requirements of the festival organizers. Currently, the event organizer is mobilizing maximum human resources, working day and night to install the entire stage, LED screen system, sound, lighting, etc.

At the same time, the actors were also urgently mobilized to practice in preparation for the upcoming dress rehearsal. In addition, plans for ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire fighting, medical, electricity, water, environmental sanitation, parking lot; delegate area, entrance to the stage, press area... have been completed, ready to serve the opening ceremony of the festival.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam acknowledged that the event organizer, relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities had made many efforts, closely coordinated and implemented the tasks smoothly and rhythmically, basically meeting the requirements.

At the same time, please note that in order for the event to be a complete success, the organizers should provide early information about the opening ceremony, parking area, entrance and exit of the opening ceremony area so that people can come early to find their seats and avoid traffic jams.

Replace the security fence behind the delegate area from a hard fence with police and military officers and soldiers to ensure security and order. Increase the festival flags on the stage LED boards. Require the unit in charge of fireworks and the drone performance unit to coordinate smoothly with each other, promoting safety during the operation of their tasks.
