Dak Lak grants Decision approving investment policy for the only Veston Textile and Garment Center Project in Southeast Asia

On the morning of April 1, the Department of Finance held a ceremony to hand over the Decision approving the investment policy and approving the investor to implement the Veston Textile - Garment Center project at Ea Dar Industrial Cluster, Ea Kar district, Dak Lak province.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of Departments, branches, Ea Kar District People's Committee, leaders of Lien Phuong Highland Textile Company and partners.

Mr. Vo Ngoc Tuyen - Director of the Department of Finance approved the Decision to approve the investor for the Veston Textile - Garment Center project.

At the Ceremony, the Department of Finance announced the Provincial People's Committee's Decision on approving the investment policy and approving the investor for the Veston Textile and Garment Center project. Accordingly, the project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in investment policy and approved the investor in Decision No. 747, dated March 31, 2025, the investor is Lien Phuong Highland Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company. The project has a total investment of 360 billion VND, of which contributed capital is 72 billion VND, mobilized capital is 288 billion VND, expected to be completed in 2031. The project's operation period is 50 years at lots C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7 of Ea Dar Industrial Cluster, Ea Kar district with a total area of ​​9.4 hectares.

Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Huong - Chairwoman of Lien Phuong Highland Textile Joint Stock Company said that the veston sewing project, a closed-loop production line for woolen fabric, has a veston production capacity of 900,000 sets/year; fabric production capacity of less than 5,000,000 m2/year. The output products are combed wool fabric and high-end veston sets. This is the only project in Southeast Asia in the veston and woolen fabric industry in a closed-loop production line. It is expected to create jobs for nearly 6,000 local workers when put into operation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated and welcomed investors who have made efforts to overcome difficulties in choosing to invest in projects in Dak Lak province. In the context of expanding development space, the project coming into operation will greatly contribute to the socio-economic development of the province, at the same time creating jobs for local workers, creating growth momentum for the provincial economy, contributing to bringing Vietnam's textile and garment industry to the world.

Comrade Nguyen Tuan Ha requested departments, branches, sectors, and the People's Committee of Ea Kar district to actively coordinate to support investors in implementing the project. At the same time, he requested enterprises to focus all resources on implementing the project to ensure quality and completion progress as per the approved investment policy.

Leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment and the People's Committee of Ea Kar district also expressed their commitment to continue to support investors in resolving difficulties and obstacles, completing the infrastructure of Ea Dar Industrial Cluster so that the project can be completed on schedule.
