Trial inventory of public assets until June 10

According to information from the Ministry of Finance on the afternoon of May 23, the Ministry has just issued a document guiding the implementation of a pilot inventory of public assets at a number of agencies, organizations, units, and infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State.

The units conducting the trial inventory include: Ministry of Finance (State Treasury system); some units under the Ministry of Transport, Hanoi city, Da Nang city, Hai Phong city.

Regarding the content and time of the trial inventory: For training, instructions on trial inventory before May 20; actual trial inventory from May 20 to June 10; reporting and summarizing inventory results from June 10 to 30.

The content of Official Dispatch No. 5214/BTC-QLCS of the Ministry of Finance requests that agencies, organizations, units, and enterprises subject to the trial inventory establish an Inventory Team with the unit leader as Team Leader and members decided by the unit's Head.

In addition, prepare documents and accounting books to serve the inventory work; Study the Inventory Forms attached to Decision No. 1138/QD-BTC (the trial inventory forms and forms are updated by the Ministry of Finance (Department of Public Asset Management) at the link according to the QR code attached to Decision No. 1138/QD-BTC).

In parallel, the Ministry of Finance (Department of Public Asset Management) plans to organize training conferences and deploy trial inventory work to disseminate Decision No. 213/QD-TTg dated March 1, 2024 of the Prime Minister and the plan to implement Decision No. 213/QD-TTg; at the same time, provide guidance on indicators, forms, and methods of synthesizing inventory results to serve the trial inventory.

It is expected that on May 27, the Ministry of Finance will organize a training conference to deploy the pilot inventory work at the State Treasury, Ministry of Transport, Hanoi city; on May 28, 2024, it will be held in Hai Phong city, Da Nang city. In case the Ministry or locality needs to adjust the time and composition, it must notify the Ministry of Finance (Department of Public Asset Management).

The Ministry of Finance (Department of Public Asset Management) will assign staff to coordinate with agencies, organizations, units, and enterprises subject to the trial inventory throughout the trial inventory process at the Ministry and localities (from actual inventory to synthesis, reporting results, and drawing lessons from the trial inventory).

Previously, on May 16, the Minister of Finance issued Decision No. 1138/QD-TTg of the Ministry of Finance on implementing a pilot inventory of public assets at a number of the above-mentioned agencies and units.
