Stimulate tourism to festival areas

The Provincial Tourism Association cooperated with domestic travel companies to build a "Back to the source" tour to visit the Hung Temple historical relic site combined with the experience of Xoan singing in the ancient village.

Hung Kings Commemoration Day - an important historical and cultural event is an opportunity to attract Vietnamese people, overseas Vietnamese and international tourists to visit and worship the Ancestral Land. This year, Hung Kings Commemoration Day and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week will take place from March 29 to April 7 (ie from March 1 to 10 of the lunar calendar) with about 30 attractive cultural and sports events and activities; the holiday is on the same day as the weekend, the weather is cool and fresh... This is a golden opportunity to promote and attract tourists from all over the country and internationally to Phu Tho.

With the desire to turn Phu Tho into a unique and attractive destination with quality tourism products and services on the occasion of Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, since the beginning of February (lunar calendar), the Provincial Tourism Association has actively improved the quality of tourism products and services, coordinated to organize many promotional activities, focused on building new tour programs, focused on developing intra-provincial tourism products, exploiting community eco-tourism products, connecting historical and cultural tourist attractions, to increase the attractiveness of Phu Tho tourism.

Domestic travel agencies participated in a discussion on building a tour to Hung Temple - Thanh Son on the occasion of Hung Kings' death anniversary and the Cultural Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in 2025.

Accordingly, the Association has coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province to organize programs to welcome Famtrip and Presstrip delegations to survey and experience community cultural tourism products and services, connecting tours to Hung Temple - Thanh Son - Long Coc; Hung Temple - Thanh Thuy; Hung Temple - Xuan Son - Long Coc; organizing seminars and exchanging experiences to improve the quality of services and tourism with travel companies in the province and the northern mountainous provinces; actively participating in tourism promotion and stimulation activities at the program "Colors of Tourism of the Ancestral Land" in 2025 (held from March 6 to the end of March 10 of the lunar calendar)...

In addition, the Association also develops plans and coordinates with branches in the province to organize community training courses, improve basic knowledge and skills in reception, room service, table service, bar - beverage preparation, kitchen service, and training in tour guide skills; develop preferential tourism products and services with the motto "reducing costs but maintaining service quality"... to stimulate demand and attract tourism.

Ms. Bui Thi Lich - Director of Indochina Tourist & Trade Company in Hanoi said: If every year we mainly build inter-provincial tours and choose Phu Tho as the first destination during the Hung Temple Festival, this year, the source tours will last 2 days 1 night or 3 days 2 nights with tourism services combined with cultural experiences and resorts in Phu Tho. Tourists coming to Phu Tho will not only visit and worship at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site but also experience cultural activities such as: Xoan singing in the ancient village; experiencing the culinary culture of the three regions of the North - Central - South at the program "Colors of Tourism in the Ancestral Land"; visiting Long Coc tea hill and discovering the cultural colors of the Muong and Dao ethnic minorities in Tan Son; bathing in hot mineral water and experiencing resort services in Thanh Thuy... These will truly be attractive tourism products, creating highlights for the Hung Temple Festival tourist season in 2025.

According to records from travel businesses in the province, the number of customers booking tours and tourism services from March 29 to April 4 (ie March 1 - March 7 of the lunar calendar) reached about 10% of the plan, and this number is forecast to continue to increase sharply during the two weekends and the main holiday of March 10.

Members of the Provincial Tourism Association participated in the program "Colors of Tourism of the Ancestral Land" on the occasion of the Ancestor's Death Anniversary in response to the stimulus program of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2025.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Lan - Chairman of the Provincial Tourism Association said: The Association currently has 108 members including travel agencies, tourism services, and accommodation businesses; 100% of the Association's members have registered to participate in tourism stimulus programs during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land.

In order to effectively promote and stimulate tourism during the festival, the Association is continuing to strengthen coordination with branches to inspect and supervise members to strictly implement the provision of services to ensure good product quality and reduce product costs; encourage members of tourism service enterprises to extend their participation in tourism stimulus programs to create conditions for people and tourists to participate in activities at the Cultural and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in a safe and attractive manner.

Thereby contributing to building Phu Tho into an attractive destination, creating a unique impression in the hearts of tourists.
