On April 6, 2025 (March 9, At Ty year), at Hung Temple Festival Center, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a closing ceremony for the Phu Tho Folk Music and Folk Song Festival to serve the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary and the 2025 Culture and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land. Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Viet Trung - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Head of the Festival Organizing Committee; Leaders of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site; Members of the Festival Organizing Committee; Leaders of specialized departments and units under the Department; Leaders of the Department of Culture, Science & Information; Centers for Culture, Sports, Tourism and Communications of districts, towns and cities and hundreds of artisans and actors from troupes participating in the Festival...
After 5 days, the Phu Tho Folk Music and Arts Festival serving the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary and the 2025 Culture and Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land has ended successfully. This year's festival has the participation of more than 500 non-professional actors and musicians with nearly 70 performances from 13 districts, cities and towns, bringing to the festival many unique performances with rich and attractive genres. Among them, there are many units of actors participating in large numbers such as: Viet Tri City; Thanh Thuy District; Lam Thao District... Through lyrics, singing, and dances praising the tradition of building and defending the country of our ancestors, praising the glorious Party - great Uncle Ho, praising the homeland of Phu Tho... expressed with sincere feelings and clearly bearing the cultural nuances of the midland of the Ancestral Land. The festival has created a vibrant and bustling atmosphere during the festival days, attracting the attention of compatriots and tourists from all over the country to the festival.
Many groups with good quality programs participated in the Festival, carrying the cultural identity of each locality. Most of the performances participating in the Festival were invested in elaborate and professional staging, with a harmonious interweaving of modern performances with traditional performances exploited from Xoan folk songs, Phu Tho Gheo and ethnic minorities such as Dao, Muong... creating brilliant colors. Typical are the programs of mass art troupes: Viet Tri city, Phu Tho town, Tan Son district, Thanh Son... Participating in this Festival, there were many performances that impressed with their style as well as high artistic quality such as: Betel invitation and Mashup: Viet Tri city of festivals and love - Phu Tho new day (Viet Tri city); Medley: My beloved town - The vast new road (Phu Tho town); Dam Nang Khot (Tan Son district); Vietnam's heroic spirit (Thanh Son district); Mashup: The Party Flag - Each step makes us love our country more - The Flag - Youth dedicated to the Party (Cam Khe district)... This has affirmed the deep attention and direction of the leaders of districts, cities and towns; Departments of Culture, Science & Information; Centers for Culture, Sports , Tourism and Communications and the enthusiasm and responsibility of actors, artisans and musicians of the localities participating in the Festival. Many groups have connected with the art cores and club members in the area, creating a festival season rich in color, genre and content, leaving a good impression in the hearts of the audience and pilgrims to the origin of the nation.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee decided to award 13 collective prizes, including 7 A prizes and 6 B prizes; along with 47 performance prizes, including 20 A prize performances and 27 B prize performances for mass art troupes.
