On the afternoon of May 22, the University of Finance and Marketing in collaboration with the Center for Education Quality Assessment (Ho Chi Minh City National University) held a ceremony to announce the decision and award the certificate of meeting quality standards issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

Speaking at the certificate awarding ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam, Director of the Center for Education Quality Assessment, said that during the external assessment process, the assessment team discussed and worked directly with all units of the school with more than 200 related individuals. As a result, the school has met the quality standards of educational institutions in the second cycle (2018-2022 period) according to the new set of standards issued by the Minister of Education and Training with 25 standards and 111 criteria. Among them, there are many new standards and criteria, much more difficult than the previous set of standards.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Tien Dat, Principal of the school, said that to achieve the above results, the school has gradually affirmed its reputation and brand through training quality, by training thinking skills combined with professional practice, linking training with business reality and human resource needs of society.
"To implement the motto of 'not trading quality for anything', the school has implemented a policy of prioritizing the selection of staff and lecturers with master's degrees graduated abroad, lecturers with doctoral degrees. Sharing more about future orientation, the Principal of the University of Finance and Marketing said that according to the development strategy for the period 2021-2030 and the vision to 2045, by the end of 2026, the school will become an application-oriented university, maintaining national standards at the educational institution and program level, including at least 4 programs meeting the quality standards of the ASEAN University Network (AUN-QA). By the end of 2030, the school will reach the level of a prestigious university in the ASEAN region.
The University of Finance and Marketing is a public university, under the Ministry of Finance. Currently, the university has 13 specialized faculties, 3 training institutes with 15 university training majors with more than 30 training majors; 3 master's training majors and 2 doctoral training majors. Every year, the university enrolls about 4,500 full-time university students, 400 graduate students and about 20 doctoral students. Over the past 47 years, the university has provided society with over 50,000 bachelors and over 2,500 masters.
