Prosecution of the case of illegal emigration by fishing boat

On March 26, the Security Investigation Agency of Kien Giang Province Police announced that it had recently issued a decision to initiate a criminal case to investigate and clarify the act of "Organizing illegal exit for others" related to fishing boat KG 95541 TS (owned by Ms. NTKC, 46 years old, residing in An Hoa ward, Rach Gia city, Kien Giang province).

Previously, through the journey monitoring system, detecting that Ms. NTKC's fishing boat lost its connection signal onshore, the last location recorded by the system was near An Thoi ward, Phu Quoc city, the Fishing Vessel Inspection Center sent 50 communication signals to remind, issued documents to fishing boats with signs and high risk of illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

On February 25, according to information obtained by the source, in the waters of Thailand, the functional forces of this country discovered, chased and captured the fishing boat KG 95541 TS controlled by NVK (31 years old).

Based on the collected documents and evidence, the Investigation Security Agency of Kien Giang Provincial Police has initiated a case to investigate and clarify the act of "Organizing illegal exit for others" related to fishing boat KG 95541 TS.

Currently, the Security Investigation Agency of Kien Giang Provincial Police is investigating and clarifying the case and handling it according to the law.
