Commencement of construction of houses for poor and near-poor households in Xuan Lao commune

Delegates started building a house for Mr. Ca Van Ninh's family, Khen village, Xuan Lao commune.

Recently , the Steering Committee of Muong Ang district has proactively reviewed and clarified the beneficiaries according to Plan No. 34 - KH/DU, dated June 21, 2023 of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance and Plan No. 106-KH/ HU of the District Party Committee, creating consistency in the process of deployment and implementation. The Commune Steering Committee and related agencies and units organized the review, appraisal, and comparison of poor households, near-poor households, current housing status, and comparison with the list of poor households and near-poor households approved by the decision of the District People's Committee. As a result, there were a total of 141 households in need of building houses (137 households for new construction, 4 households for repair); the total support cost was nearly 7 billion VND (50 million VND for new houses; 30 million VND for repaired houses).

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, comrade Vu A Bang expressed his deep gratitude for the attention and support of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance for Dien Bien province in general and Muong Ang district in particular. In order to effectively implement the financial support of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Steering Committee of Muong Ang district and the Steering Committee of Xuan Lao commune to focus on leading and directing the villages, promoting propaganda work on the policies of the Party and the State ; paying attention to caring for and supporting poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances. Propagating and mobilizing households to build new houses , in addition to the support amount of 50 million VND, the family will contribute more money, working days, mobilizing relatives and the community to contribute to build more spacious and quality houses and must regularly maintain, preserve and renovate for long-term use. Regularly inspect, supervise, urge , ensure progress and quality of housing ; promptly remove obstacles and difficulties in the implementation process to complete and hand over to poor households, and promptly attach signs before December 31, 2023.
