On the morning of November 19, in An Hong commune, An Duong district, Hai Phong city, the Power Transmission Project Management Board coordinated with relevant units to organize the launching ceremony of the project to upgrade the computer system of the 220kV Vat Cach transformer station.
The project “Upgrading the computer system of the 220kV Vat Cach substation” is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), and the Power Transmission Project Management Board on behalf of EVNNPT manages and operates the project. This is a level I, group C energy project with a total construction investment of nearly 50 billion VND. The project is expected to be completed in 2025.
The investment and construction objectives include: Upgrading the existing Siemens LSA computer control system of the station with a new integrated control system according to IEC61850 standard to increase reliability, ensure safe power supply and put the substation into remote operation according to EVN/EVNNPT's plan; Mastering technology, thoroughly and effectively using existing information technology and telecommunications equipment or equipment in other projects to serve management, operation, and improve production and business efficiency; Serving the management and operation, monitoring equipment and analyzing incidents at the 220kV Vat Cach substation more quickly, fully and accurately.
The Power Transmission Project Management Board requests construction units and project consulting units to strengthen and mobilize forces, closely coordinate with project management and operation units and related units to focus on construction to ensure quality and progress according to EVNNPT's direction.
