When the regular police came to the commune

Minh Loc Commune Police, Hau Loc District, handles administrative procedures for people.

Previously, the security and order situation in Yen Lam town (Yen Dinh) had many complicated developments, crimes and drug-related evils, gambling, theft, intentional injury... occurred frequently, causing frustration and anxiety among the people. Upon receiving the task, the town's regular police force proactively followed the route, followed the grassroots area, was close to and attached to the people, took advantage of the prestige and support of the Party Committee, the grassroots government as well as the consensus of the street chiefs, prestigious people to learn and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people. From there, propagandized and mobilized the people to actively participate in the movement of the whole people to protect national security, build a safe residential area in terms of security and order according to the motto "Listen to what people say, say so that people understand, make people believe", gradually creating trust and support from the masses in the process of performing their tasks.

They understand the area, and their work measures are more methodical and in-depth, especially the propaganda, dissemination of laws and warnings on crime prevention as well as other social evils have been carried out regularly by the regular police force with many rich and suitable contents and forms, so almost all people understand. From there, people are also more responsible and proactive in preventing crime and maintaining security and order in the locality.”

Since the arrival of the regular police force, the security and order situation in Minh Loc commune - a coastal commune of Hau Loc district - has changed significantly. From a key area with complicated security and order, Minh Loc has now become one of the typical advanced communes in the emulation movement for national security. In 2024, the commune police were honored to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag from the Ministry of Public Security. With the above results, in recent years, the commune police have proactively grasped the situation, advised on the stable resolution of complicated and prominent cases, especially the situation related to the Minh Thanh urban area project and the clearance of the eastern coastal road, preventing the formation of "hot spots" with complicated security and order.

Not only doing a good job of ensuring security and order, Minh Loc Commune Police also propagated and mobilized people to deploy socialization and install over 50 security cameras on main traffic routes in the area. These "magic eyes" have helped the commune police handle and prevent hundreds of security and order incidents. Along with that, the officers and soldiers of the commune police are always close, attached and accompany the Party Committee, the government and all classes of people to do a good job of launching the movement for the whole people to protect national security; build and effectively promote many models of self-defense and self-management of security and order, such as: "Self-management of security and order by clans", "Safe schools for traffic safety", "Cameras with security and order"...

It can be said that from border communes to remote, isolated and extremely disadvantaged areas, regular police in communes is a breath of fresh air in improving the efficiency of work handling right from the grassroots level of the police force; the legitimate needs and aspirations of the people are resolved in accordance with the provisions of the law. When trusted by the masses, the police force will receive wholehearted support and assistance from the people to be able to excellently complete political tasks in the locality.

From March 1, 2025, the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security have implemented the policy of not organizing district-level police. Most of the tasks of the district-level police will be transferred to the commune-level police. This poses new requirements for the regular police force to self-study, self-improve, and improve their professional qualifications to continue to fulfill their tasks well in the new situation, worthy of being the "peaceful support" of the people.
