– On February 1, the working group of the Department of Industry and Trade conducted a survey on the selling prices and supply of goods at a number of markets in the province.
Accordingly, the working group conducted a field survey at Ba Xa market (Tan Doan commune, Van Quan district), Van Linh market (Van Linh commune, Chi Lang district). At the markets, the members of the working group surveyed the selling prices and supply sources of essential goods such as: selling prices of food; processed food; fresh food (selling prices of livestock and poultry products); fish sauce; cooking oil; ready-made clothes; etc.

Through a survey of the selling prices and supply of goods at the two communal markets, it was shown that the selling prices and supply of goods, especially essential goods, were basically stable and ensured sufficient supply to serve the needs of the people in the area before and during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024. Traders doing business at the two communal markets basically ensured the conditions according to regulations in business; the quantity of goods bought, sold and exchanged at the two markets was abundant.
After conducting a field survey and working with the leaders of the People's Committees of communes with markets in the area, the working group of the Department of Industry and Trade requested the authorities of the communes to continue to grasp the situation of fish prices and supply of goods in the area, especially business activities and exchange of goods at the markets, promptly grasp the situation and ensure the supply of essential goods for the people during the Lunar New Year.
According to the plan, from February 1, 2024 to February 8, 2024, the Working Group of the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate with local authorities to conduct surveys of the market situation at all markets in the city and districts. In particular, the focus will be on conducting surveys at a number of commune cluster markets, town center markets and markets in Lang Son city. Thereby, it will closely monitor developments in prices and supply of goods in the market, thereby promptly taking measures to stabilize prices and ensure adequate supply of goods to serve the needs of people in the province, avoiding shortages of goods and sudden price increases during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024.
