Lhasa - the "heart" of Tibet

Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, was built in 637 and is located on Mabuge Hill. It welcomes visitors with a quiet, meditative atmosphere. The first impression of Lhasa is the "coloured windows" full of flowers and sunshine.

No one sees the color of the sun, but one can feel it as other colors become brighter in the sun. The golden and russet walls of the monasteries shine brightly under the deep blue sky.

Gambala Pass

The two designers took souvenir photos with fashionista Chau Le Thu Hang and friends.

"To experience such a high altitude, we have prepared our health by exercising and taking medicine as directed by the doctor to avoid altitude sickness when going through this route. However, sometimes we have to use portable oxygen to ensure our health," said designer Vu Ngoc Tu.

"I think with such a special climate and altitude when going to Tibet, it would be more suitable to go with relatives and friends to get support when needed (difficulty breathing, lack of oxygen or body fatigue due to the effects of altitude), designer Dinh Truong Tung said.

Spectacular scenery at the Karola glacier area

Karola Glacier is only about 300 meters from the highway. Although not a large glacier, it is still a spectacular sight that amazes first-time visitors to Tibet. With its soft curves, the ice block that has existed for millions of years attracts with its pure white color stretching from the mountain top to the valley. Just a few rays of sunlight passing through, the entire glacier shines with a crystal color that will make you temporarily forget the sub-zero cold.

Shigatse City

The natural scenery is breathtaking. When visiting Shigatse, visitors can explore many unique architectural works. The two designers took the time to visit Tashilhunp Monastery - one of the most important monastic establishments in Tibet and the seat of the Panchen Lama, the second highest spiritual authority in Tibetan Buddhism. Entering Tashilhunpo Monastery is like entering a sacred realm of ancient wisdom with many beautiful and peaceful scenes.
