2025 marks the 15th anniversary of the Tastin'France Program in Vietnam, which aims to establish partnerships and business relations between the two countries in the food and beverage sector.
According to information from the French Embassy in Vietnam, this year's annual wine tasting event will take place at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Hanoi on April 2, and continue to be held a day later at the Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is an opportunity for 35 leading French wine companies to introduce to French wine lovers and enthusiasts wines and spirits from the country's most famous wine-producing regions, such as Champagne, Burgundy, Loire Valley, Rhône Valley, Languedoc, Bordeaux, Alsace, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Hauts-de-France.
The presence of many famous French wine producers and brands at this year's Tastin'France event demonstrates the interest of French companies in the Vietnamese market.
Since the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the European Union (EVFTA) took effect in 2020, Business France Vietnam has made efforts to promote and connect businesses to bring French agricultural and food products to Vietnam.
The growth of the middle and upper classes in Vietnam has contributed to increased consumption of imported wine, creating opportunities for French alcoholic beverage businesses.
The alcoholic beverage market in Vietnam remains one of the most dynamic in Asia. France remains a key player in the Vietnamese market and is the leading supplier of wine by value, thanks to its reputation for quality and prestige.
