Ninh Hai youth volunteer for the community

Mr. Nguyen Khanh Duy, Secretary of Ninh Hai District Youth Union, said: In recent years, the "Youth Volunteer" movement in the district has been implemented according to the "3 links" policy, mobilizing maximum resources from the district to the grassroots level. The Standing Committee of the District Youth Union has directed all levels of the Youth Union and associations to closely coordinate between youth, authorities and units in volunteer activities. Thereby, the movement has not only spread strongly but also strengthened the connection between organizations and youth forces, promoting the core role of the Union.

Specifically, the Youth Union at all levels in rural areas has participated in building new rural areas through organizing tree planting campaigns, maintaining youth projects such as "Lighting up the countryside roads", "National flag road"; participating in building infrastructure such as dredging canals, cleaning the environment and planting flowers on roads, contributing to improving the criteria for new rural areas in localities. For example, participating in repairing 1km of rural roads in An Xuan 1 village, Xuan Hai commune; renovating and repairing toilets for children at Thanh Son Primary School and presenting an economic model "Livelihood garden - Environmental protection"; connecting to support the innovative start-up project "Planting fruit trees on rice fields combined with local sprinkler irrigation systems, automatic fertilization". At the same time, direct 100% of grassroots youth organizations to simultaneously launch activities such as: Cleaning self-managed youth routes, village roads, alleys, caring for and renovating flower roads and cleaning, sanitizing, and caring for martyrs' memorials in the district,... attracting more than 1,200 youth union members and students to participate.

During the past year, Ninh Hai District Youth Union also coordinated to organize 21 inspection, patrol and traffic safety control activities with the participation of more than 150 Youth Union members. Coordinated to organize medical examination, consultation and free medicine for more than 1,500 people and presented 1,420 gifts to poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households with a total amount of 692.35 million VND.

Organizing activities to care for and educate children such as: Sponsoring 44 students with difficult circumstances, overcoming difficulties in studying at schools in the district; coordinating with the Khanh Hai town summer steering committee, organizing a mock trial, thereby propagating the Law on Drug Prevention and Control for young people, attracting 120 Youth Union members and students; coordinating to present 1,380 gifts to students with difficult circumstances, worth 414.92 million VND... Cooperating with agencies to actively implement propaganda tasks, supporting people and organizations in accessing activities related to digital transformation, establishing a digital transformation residential area model in Khanh Hiep quarter, Khanh Hai town; directing the Youth Union of communes and towns to establish a digital transformation residential area model in the locality, up to now there are 9/9 models. Maintained the effective operation of 50 community digital technology teams with 76 members, serving people in implementing online public services at one-stop shops and police departments of communes, wards and towns, thereby guiding the installation of VNeID for 4,308 people and supporting 3,816 records.

Responding to the program "Volunteer Saturday to resolve administrative procedures for the people" associated with the "3 responsibilities" movement among union members. The Youth Union of district agencies went to localities to guide people in completing procedures for vehicle registration and the commune unions also maintained the organization of volunteer Saturdays to guide and support people in completing land records and provide guidance on regulations on compensation, site clearance, resettlement, installation and activation of electronic identification accounts...

With active, effective and practical volunteer activities, Ninh Hai district youth have been affirming their pioneering role in various fields, demonstrating the responsibility of youth towards community life, contributing to building an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland.
