Located on a 6,000 square meter plot of land, the Countryside Museum basically recreates the rustic, rural life of the residents of the Northern Delta from the past to the present. The museum was established by teacher Ngo Thi Khieu, a native of Giao Thinh, and her husband, Major General Hoang Kien.

The old landlord's house has a 5-room design, a large yard, and was originally purchased from a family in Giao Thinh commune with full furniture: tea cabinets, mahogany beds, chests, trays, sofas, etc.
