Opening of the "Popular AI Learning" Program for Core Forces

Conference Overview

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments and branches, and 300 key officials representing localities and socio-political organizations in the area.

At the Program, the core force was given an overview of modern artificial intelligence (AI); the importance of developing digital capacity and using AI tools in the era of Industry 4.0; introduced the content, goals, and implementation activities of the "Popular AI Learning" program in Thai Nguyen province in the period of 2024 - 2025. At the same time, lecturers and experts in the field of technology guided delegates through the steps to register and participate in daily learning and practice with the LuyenAI.vn system; provided information about learning tools, documents to support students, etc.

Core staff are instructed on how to practice AI regularly, making AI an effective support tool in work and spreading it to the community.

The implementation of the program will contribute to creating opportunities for people of all walks of life to access basic knowledge about AI and its applications in various areas of life, research, learning, production and business; encourage and promote the participation of local organizations and individuals in the digital transformation process and digital capacity development; create a foundation for subsequent training courses on the use of AI tools, helping to improve digital capacity for people, especially groups of people who do not have a technological background.

Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, believes that the core force will successfully spread AI to the community.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Dung emphasized the significance of the "Popular Digital Education" movement that has been launched and deployed nationwide and the "Popular AI - AI in the tea land" movement of Thai Nguyen. He welcomed the departments, branches, agencies, unions, organizations and individuals who have popularized AI for 10,000 people in the province in 55 days and nights, which is a very proud result. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also informed about the socio-economic development situation in the first quarter of 2025, especially the impacts of the world political and economic situation on the province's economic growth; at the same time, he emphasized that more than ever, localities, including Thai Nguyen, need to promote endogenous capacity to improve labor productivity. In that context, the implementation of the "Popular AI Education" program to the workforce is an important factor that needs to be prioritized. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his belief that 300 core cadres will spread the AI ​​learning movement to the community, especially working-age citizens, with the goal of reaching 400,000 people before April 30, 2025.
