Giving more than 20,000 gifts to blind members

The conference approved the preliminary report on the first quarter of 2025 activities of the Soc Trang Blind Association, assessing the advantages and difficulties of the association. In the first quarter of 2025, the Blind Association focused on taking care of the lives of its members, such as introducing to agencies and benefactors to give more than 20,000 charity gifts worth more than 7 billion VND; mobilizing the construction of 2 houses worth 120 million VND for 2 member households; supporting 2 members to participate in the program "God of Wealth knocks on the door" with 79 million VND; giving interest-free loans to 11 people with disabilities, amounting to 78 million VND...

At the conference, comrade Tran Thi Hoang My, on behalf of the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs, informed about some related contents, acknowledged the difficulties, obstacles and recommendations of the Association of the Blind of Soc Trang province. On this occasion, the Association of the Blind received a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for 1 collective and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in 2023 - 2024; The Association of the Blind of the province awarded a certificate of merit from the Provincial Association to 2 individuals of the Association of the Blind of Vinh Chau town.
