Taking place from November 2 to 3 (soccer competition starts on October 30), the health festival has successfully concluded. The athletes competed with a spirit of honesty, the referee team was professional, creating an exciting atmosphere for the press team to strengthen their solidarity in their work, and successfully complete their political tasks in their professional work.
Athletes Dang Ngoc Hai - Pham Yen Khanh (Hanoi Moi Newspaper) received the Gold Medal in the mixed doubles event for over 40 years old in table tennis.
During the two days of the sports festival, the journalists really had days of vigorous, energetic and joyful competition, enhancing exchanges between units, not only press agencies in the capital, but also central press agencies headquartered in the city and provincial and municipal press agencies from far away coming to exchange in the capital.
The 28th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival in 2023 has the participation of nearly 500 athletes from the Vietnam Journalists Association, Journalists Associations of provinces and cities: Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Hoa Binh, Hanoi Department of Information and Communications and 20 central press agencies, newspapers of ministries and branches in Hanoi and press agencies of the capital. Athletes compete in 6 events: Chinese chess, tug of war, walking, badminton, table tennis, football competing for 32 sets of medals.
On the afternoon of November 3, the final competitions of badminton and table tennis concluded a successful health festival.
Result:
1. Mini-football: Today's Rural Newspaper team won the championship; Second place went to Vietnam News Agency team; Third place went to Nhan Dan Newspaper and Hanoi Radio and Television.
2. Tug of war: First prize went to Vietnam News Agency; Second prize went to the Capital Defense Newspaper; and third prize went to the Capital Security Newspaper and Vietnam Law Newspaper.
3. Walking: age group 18-40: First prize in the men's category went to athlete Truong Manh Huan (Capital Defense Newspaper), first prize in the women's category went to athlete Nguyen Thi Huong (Capital Women's Newspaper); age group 40-60: First prize in the men's category went to athlete Nguyen Huu Thu (Capital Defense Newspaper), first prize in the women's category went to athlete Hoang Le Quyen (Hanoi Moi Newspaper).
4. Chinese Chess: Age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete Nguyen Anh Tuan (Hanoi Radio and Television); Age group 40-60: Athlete Nguyen Anh Quan (Nhan Dan Newspaper) won First prize.
5. Badminton: Men's singles age group 41-60: First prize went to athlete Nguyen Manh Cuong (Hoa Binh Journalists Association); Men's doubles age group 41-60: First prize went to athletes Nguyen Trong Hieu, Truong Cong Dung (Vietnam News Agency); Men's singles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete Le Ngoc Bach (Nhan Dan Newspaper); Women's singles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete Do Hai Yen (Hanoi Radio and Television); Men's doubles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete pair Nguyen Manh Cuong, Bui Dai Tay Duong (Hoa Binh Journalists Association); Women's doubles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete pair Bui Thi Tien, Trinh Thi Hong (Vietnam News Agency); Mixed doubles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete pair Pham Tuan Anh, Trinh Thi Hong (Vietnam News Agency).
Leaders of the Hanoi Journalists Association and the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department awarded prizes for the women's doubles table tennis event.

Table tennis: Mixed and female doubles over 40 years old: First prize went to the pair of athletes Dang Ngoc Hai, Pham Yen Khanh (Hanoi Moi Newspaper); mixed and female doubles under 40 years old: First prize went to the pair of athletes Cu Viet Hung, Dinh Thu Ha (Vietnam News Agency); Men's team: First prize went to the People's Army Newspaper; Men's singles leadership: First prize went to athlete Phan Thanh (Hung Yen Journalists Association); Men's singles over 40 years old: First prize went to athlete Le Ngoc Linh (Vietnam News Agency); Men's doubles leadership: First prize went to the pair of athletes Nhat Hoang Linh, Kieu Giang (Hung Yen Journalists Association); Mixed and female doubles leadership: First prize went to the pair of athletes Phan Huy Ha, Nguyen Thi Lan Huong (Dan Viet Newspaper); Women's doubles over 40 years old: First prize went to the pair of athletes Nguyen Mai Huong, Nguyen Lan Phuong (Hanoi Radio - Television Station, Hanoi Department of Information and Communications).
