Atletico hope to have Jorginho
Not only Thomas Partey, Atletico also hopes to win Jorginho's signature in the winter transfer window which will officially open early next week.
Atletico's squad is currently lacking in defense and midfield, so coach Diego Simeone wants more personnel.
Simeone is changing Atletico's playing style with many new features compared to the familiar pragmatic style.
Jorginho's ability to hold the ball and distribute the ball through short passes is what Simeone is waiting for. For his part, the Italian player also wants to leave Arsenal to achieve the best form towards EURO 2024.
Although Jorginho does not have an official position at Arsenal, coach Mikel Arteta will not let the former Chelsea player leave easily if he has not found a "super sub".

Coach Erik ten Hag proposes buying new central defender
After the thrilling 3-2 win over Aston Villa, MU embarked on a plan to strengthen personnel in the winter transfer window and Giorgio Scalvini is being mentioned.
MU is quite loose in defense, especially in the ability to defend against set pieces, so coach Erik ten Hag proposed buying a new central defender.
Scalvini is a promising central defender for Atalanta and the Italian national team, almost certain to have a place at EURO 2024 in Germany.
Recently, many top European clubs have sent representatives to Serie A to watch Scalvini. MU is no exception.
According to Italian press, MU may have to pay 50 million Euros to Atalanta to sign Scalvini, one of the three most valuable central defenders born in 2003 in the world (after Levi Colwill of Chelsea and Antonio Silva of Benfica).
