Joao Felix lost his way

After a difficult time at Chelsea, Felix had to move to AC Milan to find playing opportunities but the situation still did not improve. This forced the Portuguese striker to continue to search for a stable destination after years of being lost since leaving Benfica.

According to the Daily Mail , Felix's agent, Jorge Mendes, has held talks with Galatasaray, a major club in Turkey.

The former Atletico Madrid player will return to Chelsea after his loan deal with Milan expires. Despite Felix's contract running until the summer of 2031, Chelsea are ready to sell the player in the next transfer window, as he is no longer in coach Enzo Maresca's plans.

The Rams Park outfit need a replacement for Victor Osimhen, whose loan deal expires at the end of the 2024/25 season, and the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Mauro Icardi and Alvaro Morata.

Since leaving Benfica, Felix's career has gradually declined. He could not shine at Atletico Madrid, even got into conflicts with coach Diego Simeone, and was then pushed to Barcelona and Chelsea on loan.

Last summer, Felix was recruited by Chelsea for 52 million euros. However, the 25-year-old player could not adapt to the football environment that requires high physical factors and speed like the Premier League.

Felix started well at Milan but quickly fell out of favour. He has failed to score in his last nine appearances for the San Siro club. The Serie A side are fed up with the form of the "second Ronaldo" and will return him to Stamford Bridge as soon as the 2024/25 season ends.
