On the afternoon of December 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, the organizing committee of the award ceremony Blue Wave announced this year's official nominations.

Why wasn't Jack nominated?

But with an award ceremony that honors and glorifies, in addition to recording market data, we also pay attention to the image of the artist.

We do not include artists with controversial images in the nominations, because that would cause controversy in terms of honor.

This is the quality requirement of an official award that Blue Wave has been pursuing for many years."

However, the organizers noted that the artists' image can change and become more positive over time. At that time, they will be recognized if their products achieve good figures.

Blue Wave gathers data from YouTube, Spotify and Zing MP3 - the three largest music listening and video viewing platforms in Vietnam. The organizers do not count data from TikTok, a platform dedicated to short videos.

Son Tung M-TP is 'out of his league', does Say Hi have a chance to win?

After a successful year, Son Tung M-TP leading in nominations with 5 categories: Male singer/rapper of the year, Song of the year, Phenomenal song, MV of the year, Producer of the year.

In addition, the Most Favorite Male Singer/Rapper category is still in the voting round until the top 10, and the top 5 nominees will be selected soon. Currently, Son Tung M-TP is temporarily leading the top 10, so it is likely that he will have the 6th nomination.

The two most important categories of Blue Wave are Male/Female Singer/Rapper of the Year. This year, because the male artists were so impressive, the organizers left 6 names instead of 5 like every year.

Male Singer/Rapper of the Year category includes: Son Tung M-TP, Soobin, Phan Manh Quynh, HIEUTHUHAI, Quang Hung MasterD and Vu. Son Tung M-TP is the most powerful name thanks to the two biggest hits of the year: Don't break my heart and We of the future.
