Create excitement for the opening program

The brass band performances were coordinated by the HCM City Command's General Staff Band and the Ha Huy Tap Secondary School's Drum and Trumpet Troupe - Binh Thanh District. The "Street Parade" included: Vietnam Marching Band, Phuong Nam Art Theater (puppetry and circus), Phuong Viet Dance Group, Ngoc Trai Viet Youth Union, Sisi Children's Group, Nha Be District Children's House... stirring up the atmosphere before the opening ceremony.

The Ho Chi Minh City Children's House Ceremonial Team performed a series of works: "City of Ten Flower Seasons" (Composer: Pham Tuyen), "My City" (Composer: Phan Nhan), "Young City" (Composer: Tran Tien), "Children of Uncle Ho's City" (Composer: Le Anh Tu), in the ceremony part of the opening program.

Mr. Vo Trong Nam - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, beat the drum to open the ceremony.

Folk song medley and "World Children's Festival" (Composer: Folk song, Le Huu Phuoc) performed by Gia Han, Rapper Gia Phuc, Si Si Children's Group, Phuong Nam Art Theater, Vietnam Marching Band, and Ngoc Trai Viet Youth Union, opened the opening program.

Mr. Vo Trong Nam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, beat the drum to open the festival. After the ceremony, the audience enjoyed 3 chapters: "Colors of the homeland", "Spring flowers of the country", "What a surprise" with many special performances.

Among them, the medley "Tuoi tre the gien Bac Ho" - "Viet Nam Toi" (Composer: Trieu Dang - Jack), performed by singer Nha Thy, Phuong Nam Art Theater (puppetry troupe), Ngoc Trai Viet Modern Folk Art Troupe, and Vietnam Marching Band. "Viet Nam Toi" was a hit song by the duo Jack - K-ICM before they disbanded. The song "That bat ngo" composed by Mew Amazing, a "hit" by Truc Nhan, was also performed by Vietnam Marching Band and Phuong Viet Dance Group.

The 2024 Ho Chi Minh City Brass Band Festival and Puppetry Festival will take place on Le Loi Street (car lane, from Pasteur to Phan Boi Chau) from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on December 27 to December 29.
