“The World Cup will not be easy for the Vietnamese women’s team as we will be participating for the first time, but nothing is impossible. Personally, I hope to score a goal at the highest level of women’s football in the world. If I can do it, it will be a historic moment for me and the Vietnamese women’s team,” said striker Huynh Nhu about her dream of scoring a goal at the World Cup, where Vietnamese women’s football will be participating for the first time this August.
Perhaps that dream is not only Huynh Nhu's but also the dream of Vietnamese football fans and experts. Because while the players have not yet helped them fulfill their dream of watching Vietnam compete in the World Cup, the "golden girls" are on their way to the biggest women's football festival on the planet. Success or failure is still unclear, but no one taxes dreams and they have the right to dream. That is the beautiful dream of the girls who have brought Vietnam to appear on the world football map at the World Cup. There, the Vietnamese National Anthem will be played at least 3 times and the Vietnamese National Flag will also fly 3 times. That is the pride of the entire Vietnamese nation.
Therefore, although she has gone down in history of women's football at the SEA Games with 4 consecutive championships and 12 goals in this tournament, Huynh Nhu's collection of achievements will be more sparkling and solemn if the captain of the Vietnamese women's team scores a goal in the World Cup. If that becomes a reality, Vietnamese football will have another team to do this. In addition to Futsal, the "golden girls" will be the next ones to make the Vietnamese people's World Cup dream come true.
