Yen Khanh District Party Committee summarizes work in 2023

In 2023, the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee united, unified, focused on leadership and direction with focus and key points, together with the efforts of all levels, sectors, and people in the district, achieved important results, 9/9 main targets achieved and exceeded the plan.

Party building and government building work were carried out synchronously, comprehensively and effectively; the activities of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations had many innovations, oriented towards the grassroots; the political system was increasingly consolidated. During the year, the whole district admitted 289 new party members, reaching 100.3% of the plan; 100% of grassroots party organizations fulfilled their tasks well.

The economy continues to grow, agricultural production is bumper, the value of crop and aquaculture products/ha of cultivation reaches 168 million VND, an increase of 1.17 million VND/ha compared to 2022. Industry, handicrafts, trade and services maintain growth rate. Budget revenue in the area reaches nearly 312 billion VND, equal to 125.3% of the plan assigned by the province.

The National Target Program on New Rural Construction has been focused on and directed resolutely, achieving outstanding results. Yen Khanh district has completed 9/9 criteria for advanced new rural districts, and proposed the Central Government to appraise and recognize the district as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023.

The management of construction investment, land, environment, and site clearance has been focused on and directed resolutely, achieving many results.

Along with that, cultural and social activities were promoted; people's lives were improved; social security was ensured. Local defense and military work was strengthened; district defense area drills were successfully organized; political security was maintained, social order and safety were ensured.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, acknowledged and congratulated the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of Yen Khanh district in 2023.

Emphasizing that 2024 is a pivotal year to implement the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, in order to achieve the set goals and plans, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission requested that the Yen Khanh District Party Committee needs to overcome the difficulties and limitations of 2023; at the same time, promote the tradition of solidarity within the entire Party Committee and the spirit of hard work, creativity, and love for the homeland and country of the people of Yen Khanh to continue to overcome difficulties and challenges.

Focus on building a clean and strong Party. Continue to improve and enhance the quality of new rural criteria; focus on solutions to improve the material and spiritual life of the people; promote the internal strength of the entire political system, the role of the people as the main subject, promote the movement to build model new rural residential areas and advanced new rural districts.

Continue to invest in upgrading infrastructure, developing the economy; preserve and promote national cultural identity... contributing to building a Millennium Heritage City; Ninh Binh basically meets the criteria of a centrally-run city before 2030 and becomes a centrally-run city by 2035.

The Lunar New Year of Giap Thin is approaching, the comrade requested that the Party committees and authorities at all levels in the district need to carefully prepare conditions for the Tet holiday, pay attention to the material and spiritual life of policy families, people with meritorious services, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances. Pay attention to ensuring security, order, and traffic safety so that people can enjoy a happy and safe Tet holiday.

At the conference, 12 grassroots party organizations met the standards for excellently completing their tasks, 48 grassroots party organizations met the standards for well completing their tasks; collectives and individuals who have excellently completed their tasks for 5 consecutive years were commended and rewarded by the Standing Committee of Yen Khanh District Party Committee.
