Krong Pac District: Economic growth in 2023 reaches 12.6%

On December 19, the Party Executive Committee of Krong Pac district held the 25th (expanded) Conference to review and approve the drafts: Report on the results of implementing tasks in 2023, Resolution on tasks in 2024 and Party work programs.

In 2023, the district's socio-economic situation continues to develop, most of the targets achieved and exceeded the set plan. Notably: the total economic production value reached 20,923 billion VND, an increase of 28.01% compared to 2022; economic growth rate reached 12.6% (Resolution (NQ) set 10.12%); mobilized social investment capital reached 1,880 billion VND (an increase of 14.63% over the same period in 2022); total budget revenue reached over 356 billion VND (equal to 206.63% compared to the estimate assigned by the province and 111.07% compared to the district's Resolution); total budget expenditure was over 1,228 billion VND; average income per capita reached 65.7 million VND/person/year (an increase of 18.98% compared to 2022)...

Cultural and sports activities, gratitude activities, and social security activities were fully and promptly implemented. Vocational training and job creation were given attention, creating new jobs for 2,652 workers, exporting 124 workers, and organizing 32 vocational training classes for rural workers, with nearly 1,000 students participating.

Agencies and units have focused on leading and drastically implementing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in compensation and site clearance work to ensure the progress of two important traffic projects through the district, namely Ho Chi Minh Road, the eastern bypass of Buon Ma Thuot city, and Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway.

Party building and political system building continue to receive attention and focus. The entire Party Committee has admitted 275 new party members, reaching 112.24% of the target assigned by the Provincial Party Committee. The work of training, fostering, and improving the professional qualifications and political theory of the staff according to the cadre management hierarchy continues to receive attention and focus.

Delegates participated in group discussions on the results of task implementation in 2023 and task targets in 2024.

The conference approved 22 main targets in the fields of socio-economics, national defense - security, Party building, government, and organizations in 2024. Accordingly, the whole district strives to achieve an economic growth rate of 10.22%; total production value of the whole economy reaches 23,282 billion VND; average income per capita (at current prices) increases to 71.86 million VND/person/year; state budget revenue in the area reaches 348.9 billion VND; focusing resources on building 2 more communes to meet new rural standards, 2 communes to meet advanced new rural standards, communes that have not met new rural standards increase at least 3 criteria/commune...

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Krong Pac District Party Committee Tran Hong Tien requested each agency, unit, and grassroots party organization to promptly concretize the contents of the 2024 Resolution, continue to promote advantages, overcome shortcomings, and focus on implementing key tasks: continue to promote economic restructuring towards increasing the proportion of service and industrial sectors; complete the work of planning, planning, and land use options, as a basis for attracting investment projects; continue to prioritize implementing solutions to support and remove difficulties for businesses and people in production and business; focus all resources to prepare and organize the 2nd Krong Pac Durian Festival in 2024...

Comrade Y Tuan Eban - Commander of the Military Command of Krong Pac district received the decision to appoint additional members of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Krong Pac district for the 2020 - 2025 term.

On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Krong Pac District Party Committee held a Conference to announce the decision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on appointing comrade Y Tuan Eban - Commander of the Krong Pac District Military Command as an additional member of the District Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
