Coming to Vietnam Pho Festival 2024, people and tourists can enjoy hot, fragrant bowls of pho from many famous pho brands from Vietnam such as Pho Thin Bo Ho, Pho Phu Gia, Pho Ngoc Vuong, Pho Dau, Pho Sen SASCO, Pho Ta, Pho'S, Pho Sam Ngoc Linh, Pho Atiso Da Lat, Nhut Pho... along with famous brands in Seoul such as Pho Khoe, Pho Vikô...

Mr. Hyeongjo Kim, an office worker in Seoul, said he and his family were delighted to enjoy the fragrant, hot Sam Ngoc Linh pho. “Vietnamese pho is delicious. The flavor is rich and impressive. Thank you for bringing us a wonderful Vietnam Pho Festival,” Mr. Kim said.

Kim Bok Hee, a resident of Seoul, said the owner of a pho restaurant participating in the festival introduced her and her family to the event. “I was very excited to come here. I think it would be even better if there were more space, tables and chairs for people to sit and chat with each other,” Kim said.

Having just had a trip to Da Nang - Hoi An in Vietnam, a family of 3 from Portugal accidentally "came across" the Vietnam Pho Festival in Korea so they bought many tickets to enjoy Vietnamese pho.

They said they really like Vietnamese food. During the trip, everyone ate pho, so today they were very happy to enjoy Vietnamese pho again in Korea, especially pho Ngoc Vuong - a famous and long-standing pho brand in Vietnam.

Ms. Anna, a Vietnamese living and working in Korea, said she was honored to be invited by Tuoi Tre Newspaper reporters to be interviewed at Vietnam Pho Festival 2024.

“This festival is widely organized and promoted on Facebook, YouTube and Tiktok. So I came here. I am honored and proud to be Vietnamese, standing at this festival. I see a lot of food here and get to experience many things. Thank you to the organizers. Everyone, come here and experience it, you will get to eat Vietnamese pho,” Anna excitedly said.

Within the framework of the festival, people can also enjoy many delicious dishes from Vietnam such as bread, pancakes, spring rolls, rice vermicelli... Especially, they can participate in fun games such as mini quiz games about the spices that make up pho, lucky spins...

The organizers also arranged exhibition spaces, cultural experiences, and tourism, giving attendees the opportunity to experience Vietnamese culture such as trying on and taking pictures with ao dai, trying on hats, painting on conical hats, playing folk games, etc.

Throughout the program, there are a number of talk shows and cooking shows to exchange, interact and guide visitors to learn about pho and how to prepare pho. Especially in the cooking show, the head chef of the old Saigon Hotel - Morin of Saigontourist Group will demonstrate the secret of preparing a very special royal dish during the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam, promising to bring excitement to viewers.

Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 takes place on October 5 and 6, 2024 at Pie Factory, 441 Gwangnaru-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul (Korea).

The program is co-organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in Korea, Tuoi Tre newspaper, Saigontourist Group, under the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the coordination of the Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, General Association of Vietnamese in Korea, Association of Vietnamese Enterprises in Korea, Association of Korea - Southeast Asia Economic Cooperation (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea). FPT Corporation, K-Medical brand, Picare brand are accompanying.

Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 has a performance stage, nearly 70 booths, including more than 40 booths selling pho and Vietnamese and Korean delicacies. Besides, there is a space for cultural experiences, exhibitions, and introductions to Vietnamese culinary culture and tourism.

With the slogan “Enjoy Pho, Discover Vietnam”, the program organizers hope to use Vietnam Pho Festival to create people-to-people diplomacy activities, promote the friendly relations between the two countries, promote culinary culture, and connect trade based on the economic and tourism potentials of Vietnam and Korea.
