Khanh Binh Bridge is located at Km 346+756 of Van Phong - Nha Trang highway.
Khanh Binh Bridge is built in Khanh Binh commune, Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa province, with a scale of 4 lanes, 17.5m wide, nearly 700m long, including 17 spans, total construction value of 206 billion VND.
After the bridge was closed, the contractor accelerated construction, striving to complete the longest bridge of the project by December 31, 10 months shorter than the schedule committed to the investor. Khanh Binh Bridge crosses Provincial Road 8 and a mountain valley located in a complex terrain area in the northeast of Khanh Binh commune. Completing Khanh Binh bridge on schedule will help speed up the progress of the entire Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway project.
The bridge construction conditions are difficult when only one direction is used because the M2 pier is located in a mountainous terrain, making it impossible to transport construction materials. The geology is different from the design, so it is necessary to re-investigate to calculate changes in the length of the bored piles. Previously, the construction of Khanh Binh bridge encountered many difficulties due to thousands of square meters of forest, so the purpose had to be changed.
