Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity of An Giang Province Le Hong Quang delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee highly appreciated the results of the coordination between the Standing Office of the Steering Committee and the relevant agencies in the fight against corruption, waste and negativity. In the first quarter of 2025, the Standing Office and members of the Steering Committee actively advised the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to lead, direct, concretize and organize the timely and complete implementation of the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies, the conclusions and directions of the Central Steering Committee on corruption prevention and control, waste and negativity (Central Steering Committee) and of the General Secretary, Head of the Central Steering Committee on corruption prevention and control, waste and negativity, achieving quite comprehensive results.

Specifically, the Standing Office of the Steering Committee carefully prepares the contents to serve the Steering Committee, the Standing Office of the Steering Committee meets to evaluate the results of the implementation of the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; deploys key tasks and gives opinions on a number of contents according to its authority (01 meeting of the Steering Committee and 03 meetings of the Standing Office of the Steering Committee); at the same time, completes and issues documents after the meetings and sessions of the Steering Committee.

The competent authorities have made efforts and urgently implemented the conclusions of the Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Steering Committee at the Steering Committee meeting and the Standing Committee meeting, especially coordinating to remove difficulties and obstacles, speed up the investigation, verification and handling of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Steering Committee, striving to basically complete the resolution of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Steering Committee by the end of the first quarter of 2025. Up to now, the progress of resolving cases has basically met the set schedule, notably bringing 02 cases to trial, issuing investigation conclusions of 02 cases, urgently coordinating to remove difficulties and obstacles, speed up the verification and investigation of 02 cases and 02 incidents under the supervision and direction of the Steering Committee.

Concluding the meeting, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Practices of An Giang Province, Le Hong Quang, suggested that in the coming time, the Steering Committee continue to lead, direct the concretization and full and timely implementation of the Central Committee's policies, directives, resolutions, regulations and instructions on anti-corruption, waste and negative practice; especially the new regulations and instructions of the Central Committee and of the General Secretary, Head of the Central Steering Committee.

In particular, seriously implementing the direction of General Secretary To Lam: Strengthening the prevention and fight against corruption, waste, and negativity associated with completing the streamlining of the apparatus and administrative units at all levels of the political system; resolutely not allowing corruption, waste, and negativity to occur; absolutely not allowing the situation of "lobbying", "group interests", corruption, waste, and negativity in personnel work to occur".

Directing the effective implementation of tasks and solutions to prevent corruption, waste and negativity; in which, persistently and synchronously implementing solutions for both prevention and combat, with the motto from low to high to practice thrift and combat waste. Improving the effectiveness of propaganda and education on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; building a culture of integrity, combating corruption, waste and negativity among cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and the people. Thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the regulations of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in cadre work and inspection, supervision and enforcement of party discipline; in inspection, auditing, investigation, prosecution, trial and execution activities.

Continue to direct the work of inspection, supervision, and audit, focusing on areas prone to corruption, waste, and negativity, promptly resolving cases of public concern; regularly review and resolve complaints and denunciations about corruption, waste, and negativity; conclude and thoroughly handle violations by party organizations and party members related to corruption, waste, and negativity cases and incidents. Direct the review and urge the serious and complete implementation of inspection, examination, and recommendations of the State Audit. Direct party committees, party organizations, and functional agencies to strictly implement the coordination mechanism to detect and handle violations during the process of inspection, examination, investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments; and the handling of denunciations and reports of crimes and recommendations for prosecution.

Focus on directing the agencies conducting the proceedings to remove difficulties and obstacles in investigating and handling cases, especially difficulties and obstacles in judicial appraisal; speed up the progress of verification, investigation and handling of corruption, waste and negative cases under the supervision and direction of the Steering Committee according to the principle of "Proactively, urgently, handle clearly as far as possible", "No forbidden areas, no exceptions", if there is sufficient basis, the case and the accused must be prosecuted for investigation and strict handling according to the provisions of law; ensure that the settlement of cases and incidents meets the progress according to the objectives and tasks set out in the Conclusion of the 7th Session of the Steering Committee. Regularly review and include in the Steering Committee serious and complicated corruption, waste and negative cases and incidents that are of public concern to focus on directing their final handling.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity of An Giang Province, Le Hong Quang, assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee - the Standing Office of the Steering Committee to advise the Steering Committee to report and propose to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to direct Party committees and authorities at all levels to urgently review and develop plans for the arrangement and use of headquarters, public assets, public housing facilities that are not used, used ineffectively or used for the wrong purposes by agencies, units and localities when implementing the arrangement of the apparatus and administrative units at all levels to ensure efficiency and proper purposes, avoiding loss, waste, corruption and negativity.
