At the contest, 12 secondary schools with ethnic minority students competed in 4 categories: performing arts contest expressing the cultural identity of ethnic groups through musical instruments, gongs, and folk songs; cultural contest in the form of quizzes for learning; product and cuisine display contest; sports competitions such as crossbow shooting, tug of war, stick pushing, stilt walking, etc.

The contest creates conditions for students to exchange and practice life skills; contributes to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural identity of ethnic minorities; at the same time discovers and fosters outstanding talents in the fields of culture - arts, physical education - sports in the locality.
