Instructions for people to escape the fire at HH1A Linh Dam apartment building

At 0:08 on April 1, a fire broke out at apartment 528, 5th floor, HH1A building, Linh Dam urban area, Hoang Liet ward, Hoang Mai district (Hanoi). Upon receiving the news, the City Police Command Information Center dispatched 5 specialized fire trucks and 26 officers and soldiers from the Hoang Mai Fire Prevention and Rescue Team and the Thanh Xuan Fire Prevention and Rescue Team to the scene to organize fire fighting and rescue.

After discovering the fire, the facility's fire prevention and fighting force assigned team members to approach the scene, guide 2 residents in the burnt apartment to escape safely, use the hydrant equipped at the construction site to organize initial fire fighting, and at the same time use the loudspeaker system to announce and guide residents in the building to escape.

Immediately upon arriving at the scene, through reconnaissance and information collection of the facility, the Fire Police and Rescue Force conducted a check of each apartment, guided and organized the evacuation of all residents through the stairwell to a safe place; at the same time, quickly coordinated with the facility's Fire Prevention and Rescue Force to organize and extinguish the fire immediately afterwards, preventing the fire from spreading and becoming larger.

With the efforts of the forces, at about 0:30, the fire was completely extinguished, all residents in the apartment building proactively escaped through the stairwell, during the escape process, no one was suffocated by smoke or injured.

The proactive equipping of fire prevention and fighting systems and means at the construction site, the knowledge and skills to quickly handle the initial fire of the grassroots fire prevention and fighting force as well as the proactive and timely and safe escape of the people here shows that the persistent and methodical dissemination of knowledge and skills of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police and Rescue Force of the City Public Security over the past time at the HH Linh Dam apartment complex has contributed to changing the awareness, responsibility, knowledge and skills of fire prevention and fighting and rescue of the Management Board, Management Board, grassroots Fire Prevention and Fighting Team and residents here.

The above incident once again demonstrates the effectiveness of the "4 on-site" motto in fire prevention and fighting, which has contributed to promptly preventing fire spread and large fires and minimizing damage to people and property caused by fire and explosion.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by authorities.
