More than 300 artists of the capital participated in the dissemination of the "era of national rise"

Kinhtedothi - On the morning of December 17, the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to study, disseminate and propagate the Party's and General Secretary To Lam's guiding ideology and major orientations on "the new era - the era of national growth" to artists in the capital.

More than 300 delegates representing artists of the capital from the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association attended the conference.

Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda Department Dao Xuan Dung spoke at the conference.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda Department Dao Xuan Dung said that Hanoi is a pioneering locality, taking the lead in implementing political activities on the guiding ideology and major orientations of the Party and General Secretary To Lam on "a new era - an era of national growth".

On December 16, the entire Hanoi Party Committee launched a political activity on this major policy. The Party's and General Secretary To Lam's major guiding viewpoints and orientations were thoroughly grasped by units across the city, receiving high appreciation and consensus from a large number of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.

The Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda Department also highlighted seven strategic orientations to bring the country into a "new era - an era of national growth" that General Secretary To Lam has emphasized in recent articles and speeches. These are: innovating the Party's leadership methods; strengthening the Party's character in building and perfecting a socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people, and for the people; streamlining the organization and apparatus for effective and efficient operations; digital transformation; cadres; fighting waste and economics.

Implementing the Party's major policies and orientations, Hanoi City has been implementing the organization structure arrangement with the motto of streamlining, operating effectively, efficiently, effectively, synchronously, and interconnectedly. One agency performs many tasks, and one task is assigned to only one agency to preside over and take primary responsibility.

The streamlining of Hanoi's apparatus goes hand in hand with streamlining the payroll, restructuring the staff with sufficient qualities and capacity to meet the tasks. In particular, unnecessary positions and ineffective jobs are reduced, thereby focusing resources on key areas. Along with that, Hanoi has carried out the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity... very effectively, which has been highly appreciated and supported by the people.

Hanoi is also a pioneer in administrative reform and digital transformation, considering digital transformation not simply the application of digital technology to socio-economic activities, but also the process of establishing a new, advanced and modern production method, "digital production method", which is a resource and driving force to promote the transformation of the economy in the new era, the digital era and science and technology.

At the conference, the Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Propaganda Department also provided an overview of the achievements in the socio-economic development of Hanoi in 2024. Notably, the Capital Law (amended) with specific policies and outstanding mechanisms has been approved by the National Assembly. Recently, the Prime Minister signed and issued the Decision "Approving the Hanoi Capital Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050". These are the driving forces to develop the Capital in line with the country's socio-economic strategy, developing the Capital "Cultured - Civilized - Modern", on par with the capitals of developed countries in the region and the world as set out by the Politburo in Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW dated May 5, 2022 on the direction and tasks of developing Hanoi Capital to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
