In order to help students better understand drug prevention and control, the organizers let them transform into characters with specific situations.
Le Anh Quan, a student at Ha Huy Tap High School (Nghe An), was assigned to play the role of a character who was lured into using drugs.
At first, Quan did not know how to understand the character's psychology and convey the message about drug prevention. However, after being guided by Nghe An Provincial Police officers, Quan became more confident in portraying his character and was enthusiastically cheered on by teachers and friends, and highly appreciated by the judges.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Vien, Director of Department C04, Head of the Organizing Committee, assessed that the contest has created an attractive and useful playground, attracting a large number of young people and having a strong and positive influence on the community and society.
"Not only does the contest promote and disseminate legal knowledge on drug prevention in a lively, attractive and engaging way, it also helps students acquire useful skills to protect themselves, their families and the community from the dangers of drugs; spreading the message of "Say no to drugs", "Join hands to push back drugs", said Lieutenant General Vien.
Colonel Hoang Tam Hieu, Deputy Director of Department C04, said that the contest is not only a place for students to demonstrate their knowledge, but also a place to demonstrate their responsibility to society and the future.
"Students are ambassadors, spreading strong messages to friends, family and the surrounding community. They are the ones who have, are and will continue the mission of protecting a clean school environment and building a drug-free community," said Colonel Hieu.
