Attending the workshop were comrades: Kien Soc Kha, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee; Cao Quoc Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh; Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Council of Tra Vinh University; Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Principal of Tra Vinh University; leaders of departments, branches, and mass organizations of the province; representatives of leaders of specialized units, faculties, graduate students, postgraduate students, and students of the University...

Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Chairman of the Council of Tra Vinh University , Head of the Organizing Committee of the conference presented flowers to representatives of the two units coordinating the organization of the conference.

The workshop attracted nearly 50 presentations from scientists, researchers and experts from agencies and units inside and outside the province.

The presentations focused on three main topics: Place names of Tra Vinh province through the ages; Cultural, historical and humanistic values of place names of Tra Vinh province; Preserving and promoting the value of place names of Tra Vinh province in the current context.

Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Vice Principal, Vice Head of the Conference Organizing Committee presented flowers to the Conference Organizing Committee .

In addition to summarizing the achievements and research works on Tra Vinh place names, the presentations also focused on analyzing and decoding the cultural, historical and linguistic values of Tra Vinh place names through pagoda symbols, poetry, cuisine and cultural industry achievements in exploiting Tra Vinh place names. From there, we aim to propose solutions to preserve and promote the values of Tra Vinh place names in the fields of education, tourism, state management, etc. to meet the context of modern society associated with the task of building and developing the country.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Mai, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Ho Chi Minh City National University presented the paper Tra Vinh land during the Nguyen Dynasty (first half of the 19th century) .

At the workshop, delegates focused on analyzing and evaluating the content, characteristics, cultural, historical and humanistic significance of Tra Vinh province's place names; analyzing and evaluating administrative place names in Tra Vinh province through historical periods, researching Tra Vinh province's place names associated with local historical figures; researching Tra Vinh province's place names from an interdisciplinary approach such as: language, geography, history, symbols, literature, tourism, cultural industry; researching to promote the value of Tra Vinh province's place names associated with educating the younger generation, integrating and incorporating content about place names into teaching for students at schools; digitizing place names to serve research, teaching, tourism and state management...

Writer and researcher Tran Dung shared his paper " Preserving and promoting the values of historical sites in Tra Vinh province".

The workshop is a forum for researchers, scientists, and managers to exchange, discuss, and share experiences in determining the origin of the names of the province's places through the ages, thereby drawing out the meaning, cultural, historical and humanistic values through the names of the places of Tra Vinh province. Thereby, contributing to educating the cultural and historical traditions of the province through place names in order to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of the land and people of Tra Vinh.

MSc. Thach Thi Ut Linh, Tra Vinh University, shared about the place name "Ba Se" and its cultural and historical values at the Workshop.

Master Nguyen Van Hieu , Principal of Hieu Tu High School, Tieu Can district , shared his paper " Educating high school students about place names through Tra Vinh folk literature " .

Master Doan Nhat Cuong, Lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema , shared at the workshop on the presentation " Ha Son's music video and Tra Vinh cultural space: The impact of cultural industry on viewers " .
