The 23rd Conference of the Party Executive Committee of Vinh Loc District, Term XXVI

On November 28, Vinh Loc District Party Committee held the 23rd meeting of the District Party Executive Committee, term XXVI, to discuss and approve important contents under its authority.

Implementing the tasks of 2024, the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Loc district have synchronously, drastically, flexibly and creatively implemented the proposed tasks and solutions and achieved positive results in all fields.

27/28 main targets met and exceeded the plan, of which 15 targets exceeded the plan. The economy grew quite well, reaching 4.71%, 1.66% higher than in 2023. The agricultural, industrial, construction, and service sectors all had developments. Total budget revenue exceeded 21.5% of the provincial estimate, up 19.2% over the same period.

Investment activities were vibrant with many projects being prepared for investment and starting construction, including a number of projects with large total investment. Disbursement of public investment capital reached 97.18% of the plan assigned by the province; site clearance exceeded the plan assigned by the province.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Loc District Le Van Tinh reported on the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee and Standing Committee of the District Party Committee in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The cultural and social fields continued to make progress, many cultural activities, large festivals, and district-level sports were successfully organized.

Implementing Directive No. 22-CT/TU, dated March 30, 2024 of the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on the Campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in the two years 2024 - 2025, Vinh Loc district has started to build 25 new houses and repaired 10 houses, exceeding the assigned target.

In addition to the achieved results, the district's economic growth has not met the set plan; agricultural production is still small-scale, the expansion of production areas associated with product consumption is still slow. Some manufacturing industries still face many difficulties, especially the production of fine art stone. The quality of some cultural residential areas is not commensurate with the prescribed standards...

In 2025, Vinh Loc district set 28 targets, including 11 economic targets, 10 socio-cultural targets, 3 environmental targets, 1 security and order target, 2 party building targets...

At the conference, delegates gave their opinions on the draft Report on the results of implementing tasks in 2024, goals, tasks and main solutions in 2025; Draft Report on the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee in the fourth quarter of 2024; Draft Report summarizing the work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement in 2024. At the same time, they analyzed and clarified existing limitations, causes and discussed solutions to effectively implement the goals and tasks in 2025.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Secretary of Vinh Loc District Party Committee Tran Van Tuan further analyzed and clarified the outstanding results, pointed out the shortcomings and limitations and requested departments, branches, localities, and comrades in the District Party Executive Committee to come up with appropriate solutions to resolutely achieve the set targets, as a premise for the successful implementation of the Resolution of the District Party Congress.

Regarding the 2025 task, he requested that Party committees and Party cells organize well the preparation work and successfully organize the Party Congresses at the grassroots and district levels for the 2025-2030 term; speed up the implementation of infrastructure projects, especially traffic infrastructure projects and industrial cluster infrastructure projects to create momentum for socio-economic development. At the same time, lead and direct to create clear changes in the quality of education; manage the exploitation of mineral resources, gradually overcome environmental pollution at stone processing facilities...
