For nearly 2 months now, the production and business atmosphere at Nhat Thanh Rice Paper Company Limited (Dong Mon Commune, Ha Tinh City) has become more urgent than usual. On this occasion, orders have increased compared to normal days, so the company's 8 workers have to work overtime continuously to keep up with production progress. On normal days, the company produces about 500 rolls of rice paper, with a selling price of 16-20 thousand VND/roll, with an estimated revenue of 8 million VND/day, but near Tet, the output has doubled.

Mr. Tran Van Thanh - Director of Nhat Thanh Rice Paper Company Limited said: “Since achieving 3-star OCOP standards in June 2023, the company has had more opportunities to expand its market to stores, supermarkets, and distributors in Hanoi, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City... Right from the beginning of October, the company has continuously received Tet orders, so we have had to work overtime to promptly produce and deliver goods to customers. Seeing Tet shipments continuously being transported to all regions, I am very excited”.
Along with the bustling atmosphere of production at business establishments, craft villages such as the incense village in Bao An hamlet (Thach My commune, Loc Ha), the fish sauce village in Cam Nhuong (Cam Xuyen), the rice paper village in Binh hamlet (Thach Hung commune, Ha Tinh city)... are also rushing to enter the peak production period to serve the Lunar New Year market.

The bustling atmosphere of Tet has also spread to markets and supermarkets in Ha Tinh. At Ha Tinh City Market, there are currently over 2,000 business households. In the last days of the year, items such as Tet decorations, candy, clothes, shoes, electronics, etc. are concentrated in the market more than usual and the number of people coming to shop has also increased.
Having been in the confectionery business for more than 20 years at Ha Tinh City Market, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong said: “From the beginning of the 11th lunar month, the store has started importing products with Tet packaging such as confectionery, soft drinks, jams... This year, we have imported 30% more goods than usual, the prices of the products have not increased compared to previous years. Hopefully, in the remaining time of the 2023 lunar year, the market will flourish, and Tet will be more bustling.”
Tet decoration stalls at Ha Tinh city market have imported many diverse and rich items to give customers more choices.
Although this year the purchasing power of essential goods has shown signs of slowing down, businesses at Ha Tinh market have still proactively imported Tet goods early to serve people's shopping needs. This year, Co.opmart Ha Tinh supermarket has proactively planned a Tet supply of about 60 billion VND.

In addition, the online sales channel is equally bustling when many Tet products have been widely promoted on many social networking platforms. Handmade foods are sold in a variety of types and designs. Among them, regional products such as smoked pork, buffalo jerky, dried bamboo shoots, veal ham... or a series of Tet jams, dried fruits, candies... are sold the most.
