Việt NamViệt Nam02/04/2025

Patient Tran Van Ly, residing in Khanh Yen town, Van Ban district, was hospitalized with chest pain, fatigue, shortness of breath, pale pink skin and mucous membranes, and was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Diagnostic imaging showed uneven lung fields, a 9 mm opaque nodule in the lower lobe of the left lung, a 7 mm opaque fissure in the right lung, mild tissue thickening, and bilateral bronchiectasis. The patient was indicated for endoscopic resection of the tumor in the lower lobe of the left lung.

After 2 hours of endoscopic surgery, doctors successfully removed the patient's lung tumor.

Endoscopic surgeons remove lung tumors from patients.

Thoracoscopic lobectomy shows many advantages such as small incision, high aesthetics, no rib retraction, less post-operative pain, short recovery time and hospital stay...

The successful implementation of endoscopic left lung lobectomy at Lao Cai General Hospital will increase treatment opportunities for lung cancer patients; reduce costs and time for patients and their families because they do not have to go to higher-level hospitals for treatment.
