On February 15, the Banking Academy (BAV) officially announced the expected plan for regular university enrollment in 2025 with some adjustments compared to last year.
Continue to review academic records, increase quotas for competency assessment exams
In 2025, the Banking Academy plans to enroll 3,644 students with 5 admission methods, including direct admission; review of academic records; admission based on international certificates; admission based on results of competency assessment exams; admission based on high school graduation exam scores.
With the review of academic records, the academy reserves 20% of the admission quota, remaining stable compared to last year. To consider admission using this method, the academy requires candidates to have excellent academic performance in grade 12 and have an average score of 8.0 or higher for each subject in the group of majors registered for admission for 3 years.
With the international certificate assessment method, the academy plans to reserve 15% of the target. Admission criteria are based on the candidates' thinking ability, foreign language ability and academic results.
To be considered for admission under this method, candidates must have excellent academic performance in grade 12 and have an average score of 8.0 or higher for each subject in the admission group for 3 years. Have an SAT certificate of 1,200 points or higher; IELTS of 6.0 or higher; TOEFT iBT of 72 points or higher.
How to calculate the admission score: Admission score = converted international certificate score x 3 + priority points.

With the admission method based on the results of competency assessment exams, the academy plans to reserve 20% of the quota, an increase of 5% compared to last year.
To be considered for admission based on the results of the V-SAT university entrance exam, candidates must have a total V-SAT score of 3 subjects in the admission group of 300 points or higher.
Candidates applying for admission based on the results of the Hanoi National University's aptitude test (HSA) must achieve a minimum score of 85 points.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the academy plans to reserve 45% of the total admission quota, a decrease of 5% compared to last year. The minimum admission score will be announced by the academy later. Last year, the minimum admission score to the academy using this method was 21 points.
Tuition fees increased from 1 million VND/year
The estimated tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year of the Banking Academy with standard training programs ranges from 785,000 VND to 830,000 VND/credit.
Of which, group III (business management and law) is 785,000 VND/credit, equivalent to about 26.5 million VND/year, an increase of about 1.5 million VND compared to last year.
For industry V (information technology), 830,000 VND/credit, equivalent to 28 million VND/year, an increase of about 1.5 million VND compared to last year.
Block VII (humanities, behavioral social sciences) 800,000 VND/credit, equivalent to about 27 million VND/year, an increase of about 1 million VND compared to last year.
For high-quality training programs, tuition is 1,113,000 VND/credit, equivalent to 40 million VND/year, an increase of about 3 million VND compared to last year.
