Handing out one, two… the soldiers walked so fast, Ms. Tu carried out a whole basket of oranges to share. That beautiful moment attracted 2.5 million views and hundreds of thousands of likes and comments.
Young soldiers happily receive gifts from people - Photo cut from clip
It is a video clip recording the moment a fruit and flower shop owner quickly picked up oranges and offered them to each soldier in a group marching past his house.
Her hands were too short to reach out, so the fruit seller brought out a whole basket for the soldiers to grab conveniently, so as not to miss the marching beat.
The beautiful photo received hundreds of thousands of likes and positive comments, expressing gratitude to the fruit shop owner couple.
Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online reporter, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tu (Song Cong City, Thai Nguyen) confirmed that she is the owner of the clip that is spreading on social networks.
The video was filmed on the afternoon of February 13, when she accidentally saw a group of soldiers marching past her house.
"My house is near the military barracks, so every time I go to the training ground or practice the marching group, I pass by. Every time I see the soldiers, I am moved, both with love and gratitude.
I just wrote in the video that "if I didn't hold a gun, you wouldn't be able to hold a pen", today's peace is all thanks to previous generations. The soldiers are all the same age as my children but have done great things, showing their responsibility to the country", Ms. Tu shared.
Sometimes it was apples, sometimes guavas, tangerines, oranges... whenever the marching group had some fruit, Ms. Tu would bring it out to offer to the soldiers.

"Yesterday's group was only about 50 people, but once I brought gifts to a group of hundreds of people. Yesterday the restaurant had customers so I didn't have time to prepare more," said Ms. Tu.
Giving away sweet fruits, Ms. Tu received so much joy in return. At first, the friends were shy, but then the whole group gathered around.
- Me too.
Thank you.
- Miss, miss…
"If you are given 1 happy fruit, I have to be 10 happy. Hearing your words of thanks and your happiness makes me feel elated," Ms. Tu shared.
Recalling the historic flood in Thai Nguyen in September 2024, the soldiers also tried their best to help the local people, Ms. Tu understood the saying "the relationship between the army and the people is like fish and water".
"The soldiers help me a lot, from gardening, digging ditches to harvesting crops. I will help them as much as I can," Tu confided.
Posting the clip on TikTok was just for the purpose of sharing joy, but unexpectedly the clip went viral and was well received by everyone. Reading the comments of thanks and sharing, Ms. Tu wanted to spread more beautiful images in life.
For Ms. Tu, every small action in daily life is a way to teach children, and they will look at it to learn.
