Army Academy improves the quality of education, training and scientific research

On December 31, in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, the Army Academy held the 2024 Military-Political Conference and set out directions and tasks for 2025.

According to the assessment, in 2024, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Academy , together with the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units, promoted a sense of responsibility, overcame difficulties, focused on leadership and direction to excellently complete tasks, especially in education and training and scientific research activities, military scientific information.

The Academy has seriously implemented the directives and resolutions of the Party and the Ministry of National Defense on education and training tasks. In particular, it has implemented the project "Innovation of training processes and programs for cadres at all levels in the army" and the project "Building a team of teachers and educational managers in the army for the period 2023-2030". The Academy has completed the project "Building a smart and modern Army Academy by 2030, with a vision to 2045", creating a solid foundation for long-term goals.

Teaching methods, exam and test content, and rehearsal activities are constantly being innovated and improved; scientific research activities are being synchronously deployed. The Academy has seriously implemented measures to build a strong and comprehensive unit, meeting the standards of "exemplary and typical".

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and analyzing the causes of shortcomings and limitations in the leadership and direction of units in performing their tasks. At the same time, many practical solutions were proposed to improve the quality of implementing activities, especially in the fields of education, training and scientific research in 2025.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Do Minh Xuong, Director of the Army Academy, acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive changes that the Academy has achieved in many areas; especially in education and training, student management, building a team of cadres, lecturers and teachers as well as scientific research activities and document compilation.

In 2025, the Director of the Army Academy requested to prioritize enhancing the leadership role of commanders and Party committees at all levels in Party and political work. At the same time, the Academy will promote the sense of responsibility, strengthen the building of staff and lecturers, ensure effective implementation of assigned tasks; continue to focus on education and training and scientific research activities, focusing on topics with high applicability, meeting regulations and security requirements; strengthen digital transformation, improve foreign language proficiency and information technology skills for staff and lecturers, well meeting the requirements of integration and modernization.

On this occasion, 4 groups and 4 individuals from the Army Academy were awarded certificates of merit by the Minister of National Defense for their outstanding achievements in participating in and ensuring and serving the Command - Agency exercise at 1 side and 2 levels on the map and in the field with live ammunition for Army Officer School 2.

1 collective and 1 individual were awarded certificates of merit by the Director of the General Department of Politics for their outstanding achievements in organizing the implementation of the project "Army prevention and combat of "peaceful evolution" in the field of ideology and culture in the new situation" in the period of 2019-2024; 1 collective and 1 individual were awarded certificates of merit by the Chief of the General Staff for excellently completing the tasks of the 2023-2024 school year.
