Arabica coffee price on New York floor on March 25, 2025

In contrast, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor in the early morning of March 25 increased again compared to the previous trading session, increasing from 2.40 - 4.25 cents/lb, fluctuating from 368.75 - 402.40 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in May 2025 is 394.00 cents/lb; the delivery period in July 2025 is 388.30 cents/lb; the delivery period in September 2025 is 381.40 cents/lb and the delivery period in December 2025 is 371.25 cents/lb.

Brazilian Arabica coffee price on March 25, 2025

At the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee increased and decreased alternately compared to the previous trading session, fluctuating between 459.10 - 497.00 USD/ton. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

According to information from Giacaphe.com, updated at 4:30 a.m. today, March 24, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands region decreased slightly compared to yesterday, in which Dak Lak and Gia Lai provinces decreased by 100 VND/kg; other localities remained at a high level. Currently, the average purchase price is at 133,900 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 133,800 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 132,900 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 133,800 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 134,000 VND/kg.

Coffee prices continued to rise early this year due to concerns about supply shortages. According to the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (Vicofa), coffee output in the 2024-2025 crop year is expected to decrease by 5% compared to the previous crop year to about 27 million bags.

The impact of last year's El Nino dry weather phenomenon could cause lasting damage to coffee crops in South and Central America this year.

Experts believe that coffee prices will be under pressure to adjust in the coming time as the newly harvested supply will gradually be released to the market. However, the demand for coffee in the world is showing signs of decreasing due to the high selling price. Therefore, coffee prices will continue to adjust in the coming time.

According to a trader in the coffee growing area, some farmers have taken advantage of the high prices to sell their coffee to make a profit. However, many farmers who are not under financial pressure continue to hold on to their stocks in the hope that prices will rise further.
