(NLDO)- Interactive foreign language learning with AI promises to create many changes in the foreign language learning effectiveness of millions of students.
On the afternoon of November 3, in Hanoi, FSEL - an interactive foreign language learning platform with AI - was officially launched to learners.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, founder of FSEL platform, shared at the event.
Using the Cambridge standard curriculum, FSEL helps students develop 6 skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. The lessons are designed to be highly interactive and include 3 main parts: 1:1 interactive video lectures with foreign teachers; 1:1 interactive learning forum with AI; Homework. In addition, this platform integrates advanced technologies such as AI Chatbot, AI grading to increase learning efficiency.
In the near future, this platform will focus on launching English programs for primary school students and university students to complete the English learning roadmap for children aged 6 and above. At the same time, from 2025, FSEL will expand training in other languages besides English such as Korean, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish... especially Vietnamese, contributing to realizing the goal of "Vietnamese education for the future of Vietnam".
FSEL received the Sao Khue Award 2024 for the category "Promoting Innovation" in April 2024.
Before being widely deployed nationwide, the FSEL foreign language learning platform of Five-Star E-Learning, a member of Atlantic Education Group, was assessed by the National Foreign Language Project Management Board of the Ministry of Education and Training and found that this is a technology platform that meets the quality standards for students to study and achieve goals equivalent to studying at an English center.
Dr. Do Tuan Minh, Chairman of the Board of Foreign Language University, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Mr. Zach Pinson - General Director of FSEL exchanged the cooperation minutes.
At the event, the ceremony of handing over the Memorandum of Cooperation on developing Vietnamese language training program on FSEL platform between this unit and University of Foreign Languages, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS) was held.
The program is expected to provide a high-quality training platform for students from ethnic minority areas in Vietnam, foreigners in Vietnam and more than 6 million overseas Vietnamese. Thereby, contributing to spreading the Vietnamese language - a bridge to help preserve and promote Vietnamese culture in the Vietnamese community and around the world. In addition, FSEL also announced its cooperation with Phenikaa Foreign Language, Information Technology and Skills Center, Phenikaa University.
On this occasion, the "Aspirational Star" scholarship program for the 2024-2025 school year for students at secondary and high schools in the public school system in 22 provinces and cities nationwide, especially in difficult areas, was also implemented by FSEL and the Tam Long Viet Fund, Vietnam Television. Accordingly, 100 selected students from each province will be supported with 100% free scholarships to learn English on this platform with a total scholarship fund value of over 10 billion VND.
