With classic works from home and abroad and performances by the Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra and conductor Phan Do Phuc, the audience experienced a range of emotions that were both loving and touching, yet warm, joyful and lively.
These are the world's emotional classic symphonies with Vietnamese folk melodies, compositions by Vietnamese authors in different periods, a harmonious blend of works for adults and children with messages about love, family, and life through the perspective of young people.
Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYO) is the youngest symphony orchestra in Vietnam.
The works were performed by the Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYO), consisting of young multinational youth aged 12-22, with talented 9X conductor Dr. Phan Do Phuc and support from the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and the Binh Minh Choir.
The youngest symphony orchestra in Vietnam has truly brought to the "Winter Concert" new sounds, new harmonies, new spirits full of joy to classical music.
The opening is the first chapter of the "Winter Concerto" for violin by composer Vivaldi, bringing the audience to the harsh winter atmosphere and the spirit and bravery of people facing life's challenges.

Next is the vibrant Hungarian folk dance melody of one of the most outstanding composers of the German Romantic period - Johannes Brahms with a special version for the strings of the Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra.
The familiar melody of the Vietnamese folk song "Hoa thom buom luong" was first performed with the soulful sound of the string instrument, surprising many audiences. The audience also enjoyed "Eine kleine Nachtmusik K. 525", one of the most popular works by Wolfgang Amadeus.
Young artists bring classic works from home and abroad
Opening part 2, the work "Sleigh Ride" is a Christmas skit full of energy that is extremely familiar to Vietnamese audiences through many different versions. With the same theme, "Petersburger Schlittenfahrt" (Sleigh Ride in Petersburg) by German composer Richard Eilenberg is the first work performed in Vietnam with the appearance of a series of percussion instruments. Also in the winter with the festive season, "The Waltzing Cat" by Leroy Anderson brings the image of a small corner in a warm house on a winter night, the image of a cat dancing by the fire is skillfully portrayed by the author with the strings and woodwinds in the orchestra...
"Xe chi thong kim", one of the most beautiful and familiar melodies of Vietnamese folk songs, was skillfully arranged by musician Tran Manh Hung for the symphony orchestra, showing the wonderful blend of chamber music and folk music.
"Winter Concert" brings warm and vibrant musical works
The last series of songs about the capital and family by many Vietnamese authors were also given a new look, through the skillful arrangements of Singaporean musician Alexander Oon, such as "Nguoi Ha Noi" (musician Nguyen Dinh Thi), "Lullaby for Winter" (composer and arranger Dang Huu Phuc), family suites including "Em la bong hong nho" (musician Trinh Cong Son), "Cho con" (musician Pham Trong Cau), "Doi song khong gia vi co chung em" (musician Trinh Cong Son)...
Especially the performance of the song "Reo vang binh minh" (musician Luu Huu Phuoc) with its joyful and clear sound made the audience clap their hands continuously...
Journalist Nguyen Kim Khiem, General Director of Hanoi Radio and Television Station, shared that each note and melody is meticulously crafted, not only reflecting the intense passion of young artists but also conveying a source of inspiration filled with love for music.
