According to the Vietnamese Embassy in Myanmar, Myanmar authorities have reported a number of Vietnamese citizens being detained for violating entry and exit regulations after raids and raids on online scams in the Myawaddy area, near the border between Myanmar and Thailand.
Following the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnamese Embassy in Myanmar has requested local authorities to ensure safety and living conditions for Vietnamese citizens.
According to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently working closely with domestic authorities to verify the identities of detained Vietnamese citizens, and at the same time directing Vietnamese representative agencies in Myanmar and Thailand to continue working with local authorities to promptly implement measures to protect and support citizens to return home./.
