According to journalist Le Quoc Minh, “Love Vietnam” is part of a larger vision, turning digital media and data platforms into a means of connecting people with cultural and tourism values. The project is not only an experiential journey but also a toolfor educating digital citizens, encouraging young people to understand, appreciate and continue traditional values with a technological mindset.

“The organizers hope that not only local people and tourists will visit tourist destinations in the region, but also go and check-in at other locations to practically connect different provinces and regions. As the project’s technology partner, Phygital Labs CEO Huy Nguyen said, “Love Vietnam” is the answer to the growing need for personalized travel experiences, seamless between real and digital spaces. The project is based on a multi-interactive check-in station system installed in provinces and cities across Vietnam, building the first interactive map of tourism and culture in Vietnam.

Towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Nhan Dan Newspaper and technology partner Phygital Labs have installed nearly 200 free NFC chip panels at famous landmarks in more than 60 provinces and cities, to create unique discovery experiences for tourists, support and promote local tourism.

Accordingly, from Lung Cu Flagpole to Ca Mau Cape, with just one touch of NFC-connected phone, visitors can open a digital space with many integrated features. Visitors can check-in with the support of AI (artificial intelligence) guides to explore information and history of the location; build a personalized tour itinerary; complete to receive gifts and bonus points.

In addition, the online map helps visitors look up outstanding cultural destinations, track their journeys, and connect more deeply with each land. In the future, the platform will also integrate real-time tourism data analysis features to support destination management and optimize interactions. In addition to the benefits for visitors, the system also opens up the possibility of developing local services, commerce, and indigenous cultural data, thereby contributing to promoting sustainable tourism and digital economy.

The organizers also built the project's website www.yeulamvietnam.vn, with a modern, easy-to-interact interface and bilingual Vietnamese and English, helping visitors easily access official information about the location.

According to the Organizing Committee, after more than 4 months of implementation, there have been tens of thousands of successful check-ins and photo sharing by visitors at NFC chip-mounted panels across the country.

The project “Love Vietnam” opens a digital tourism discovery community, where every citizen can become a “tourism ambassador” through the following activities: Receive a digital certificate when completing a discovery station in a province or city; accumulate points - redeem attractive gifts from the program; share photos and experience clips on social networks with the hashtag #YeuLamVietNam; invite international friends to join the journey to explore Vietnam through technology.

At the project announcement ceremony, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) Phan Linh Chi said that the project “Love Vietnam” is a harmonious combination of traditional values and modern technology. “I believe that these small but smart NFC boards will become friendly “digital tour guides”, bringing tourists closer to history and culture - not only with their eyes and ears, but also with their hearts,” Ms. Phan Linh Chi affirmed.
